Poki’s first social visit.
This little dog was found dumped and he’s been rehomed from a charity. He is very worried in new situations and normally doesn’t wave. So I was delighted on our first social visit.
Some unexpected visitors in our car park today 🦢😁🥰
This weeks waggiest tail goes to Grouchie
When Grouchie came to stay, for a procedure his mum was quite worried about leaving him. He had lots of cuddles and a teddy. 🐾🐾❤️
Mila’s heart scan, showed thickened muscle walls and therefore she was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She is currently stable but will require veterinary management and regular checks. Luckily she is insured, with a lifetime policy.
Please note that due to unavoidable circumstances our Bedford Clapham will close at 3pm today. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We have partnered with our Marston Moretaine branch, so we are still available to tend to any emergencies this afternoon until 7pm, after which our normal two out of hours service providers are available. Tomorrow Sat 30th our lines will be open from 9am until 1pm, and we can see emergencies at Marston. We will then open as normal again on Tuesday after the bank holiday. Our out of hours services are available throughout the bank holiday weekend.
Scrumptious Shadow 😻
This fella came in for castration the other day, but we think he just thought it was a play date! That’s okay though, we always do our utmost to make our patients feel comfortable ❤️
Shadow is currently under the care of Stray Cat Rescue 🐈⬛
Oh Phil 🥺!
This absolute sweetheart has been in to see us due to a bit of a blockage 💩
He had to be anaesthetised so we could help him flush it out! 🚽
Now poor Phil, this can’t have been the most comfortable feeling, but he has been the most purrrr-fect patient, always up for a cuddle and fuss 😻
We hope you are feeling better Phil ❤️
Bella 💗
Remember Bella? Bella is our Great Dane x Irish Wolfhound🐶
As you can see in the video, Bella is VERY loving! To the right is Shona, our RVN and head nurse, she is clinically examining Bella (well… trying to!)
Then to left is Olivia, our SVN, occupying Bella to keep her as still as possible - although she got a few kisses in the process😘
The mission was accomplished, and Bella was able to go back to mum after being clinically examined from nose-to-tail🥳
