Sharing this again for those that struggle this time of year, sometimes a walk with your dog can change your perspective.

My dog doesn’t care how I look or what I wear.
She’s not bothered if I wear makeup or colour my grey hair.
She doesn’t see the wrinkles and bags under my eyes,
It’s not what defines me, she looks further than the lines.
My dog’s on a journey, a journey with me and
Together we don’t have time for trivialities.
She lives for the moment and I’m good with that,
I’ll take a leaf out of her book and grab my hat.
I’ll put on my coat and take the lead,
Forget what I look like and what I don’t need,
Life’s for living, my dog knows that.
So were out the door with no looking back.

Oh happy days! 🐾🦴

Crayford Greyhound Stadium held its last race two days ago and today stops operating.
Leaving only one track, Romford, in the London area.

Owned by Entain, who announced in November “The dwindling support for the venue has led to insufficient trainer interest/ to fulfil our schedules, fewer competitive racedays and, therefore, lower attendance which has sadly driven our decision to close."

Thought to be one of the worst tracks in the UK with the highest percentage of ‘Did Not Finish’, no more greyhounds will suffer here now.
