WE’VE BEEN ASKED TO COME BACK!! 👏 🥳

Barnsley you were a blast last weekend and we had a great time meeting all the dogs and their owners. My hubby informs me you were all delightful and kept him very busy.

So, have an amazing week and we’ll see you again this Sunday. We’re now busy restocking… almost EVERYTHING! You wiped us out, thank you! 😃

And it’s our littlest’s 2nd birthday the same day, poor planning on our behalf 🤦‍♀️

Here’s a great way to use fish cubes. We add them to Nell’s meals to give her a bit of texture and she goes mad for them!

It’s funny hearing her eat them, it sounds like she’s tucking in to some crisps.

It’s with a heavy heart that we’re having to inform you all that we’ll be increasing prices in September.

Our supplier has increased prices so much now that our pricing model is no longer viable. We’ve absorbed the costs for as long as we can but sadly we can no longer do it. We’ve given ourselves two options; shut the business or increase prices. We love our little business so much so we hope you understand the increases.

To give you an idea; gourmet sausages are by far one of our biggest sellers and the price for those have gone up by 27%.
Delivery costs have gone up by 10%.

Over the coming months I’ll be closely monitoring our competition to ensure we remain great value to our lovely customers.
We’re aware that we’ll probably lose some of you but if we close, we’ll lose all of you. I can promise you that our prices will remain lower than the biggest players out there and that the full increases will not be passed on.

I walk this field everyday but today was different,
today is D-Day,
today this lone poppy opened up,
today is special and we need to remember them.

Eighty years since thousands of soldiers sacrificed their lives for us (people they didn’t know) and gave us back our freedom.

I’m not one for sentimental posts but there’s something about our armed forces that gives me a great sense of pride and comfort, I always get emotional when I watch anything on TV that involves them. They protect us without ever knowing us, and that is incredible.

Forever grateful to those past, present and future 🩶

Everything is fine, it just doesn’t look as pretty… think wonky veg at the supermarket. Tastes good, just doesn’t look ‘perfect’.

These two are simply stunning and taking us a little further afield than usual but I think you’ll agree that they’re definitely worth it.

Do any of these statements ring true with you?

Natural dog treats can be expensive especially when you’ve never bought them before and they always come in multiples. So if your dog doesn’t like what you’ve got them then it can be very expensive.

Not many dog treat sellers offer items in singles so it makes it difficult for you to try things.

Almost every item we have on our site has the option to buy as singles, which gives you the ability to try your dog with various different options without wasting money if your pooch doesn’t like it.

We’re seeing more and more of our lovely customers trying single items. Hope the dogs are enjoying trying their treats!

It’s almost two years since nell+lola started and there still hasn’t been a single increase in prices.

Yakeese has an ethos that we love! They support over 20 families in Nepal; with 6 dairy farmers and a small herd of healthy yaks, running on green energy where possible.
