I'm pretty positive that we all say that we have had these comments, over time in regard to dogs waggy tails- 'oh he just wants to say hello, look how happy he is' and their hackles- 'your dog doesn't look very friendly'

Impackt Behaviour she does an amazing job at EVERYTHING & showing the wider picture to dogs' body language. We all love our dogs undoubtedly but we do have to take that step back and look again with a wider perspective. Just because we can clearly see 1 change on a dog at any one time doesn't mean that my dog is aggressive or is soooo happy, fearful, or really not bothered. Dogs' tell us so much every single day and it's our job to be able to read them, advocate, guide and reassure them when needed.

We choose to have these animals in our lives, we need to learn their way of communicating, so we can all live together in a happy, comfortable and safe home.

Today The IMDT launched their new MDWA.
I completed their Dog Walking Certification course last year. The course is full of so much information.
I am now a member of the MWDA.

Kicking off 2025 in the right direction, my direction.

Without change, nothing changes.
Without fear there is no leap of faith.
Take the leap of faith to make the change and see the growth.
Concentrate on ones self to find that inner happiness, inner peace, seek internal validation, because when you find it it's the most amazing feeling ever.

As 2024 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the past year—the highs, the lows, the heartbreaks 🌈, the laugh-out-loud moments, the endless wagging tails, and the joyful faces. Every single dog I have the privilege of walking brings something special to the fields we roam. They each have their own unique spirit, and on some of my toughest days, they’re always there, lifting me up, making me smile, and reminding me to live in the present.

Our walks mean everything to each other.
The look on their faces when I turn up 🐾
The body shakes with excitement 🐾
The wagging tails, the slobber, their unconditional love and happiness = pure job satisfaction.

The days can be long, miles can be challenging, weather harsh, admin tiring, but those happy faces bring me pure joy.
