Let me introduce you to these two little beauties Milo and Rolo ❤️. They're in for their regular bath and brush out and after being in kennels a freshen up was just what they needed. They've such a sweet nature, are very active and love walkies in the woods so they've had a light trim to keep them in good shape and twig free. Always lots of cuddles and kisses are demanded and we're happy to oblige 😁🐾❤️

Just a bit of info for any bakers out there 🐾

Bread dough poisoning in pets 🍞

If you plan to make homemade bread this year, you may or may not be aware of the dangers that bread dough can pose to our pets.

Most of our calls regarding bread dough occur after the pet has eaten the dough that has been left to rise. Ingestion of raw, yeast-based bread dough causes expansion of the dough within the stomach, producing carbon dioxide and ethanol. Clinical signs of alcohol intoxication (disorientation, weakness and drowsiness) and bloating can occur.

It is also worth noting that some homemade bread recipes recommend xylitol as a sweetener, which is toxic to dogs.

Hi all, meet Theo. This gorgeous big guy is a Romanian rescue. He has had been through the mill until arrived at his lovely new home. He's a little anxious about the whole grooming process so we're taking things slowly. He came in for a good brush out today and was such a good boy. ❤️🐾
