Parkers Riding School caters for all ages and abilities. We also have a Young Riders Club, pony camp and regular events throughout the year.

From beginner lessons and hacks up to assisting those who would like to develop their specialist skills further. You'll find a warm welcome, and lots of opportunities to share our passion for our ponies and horses here at Parkers. There is also a cafe available here, with snacks and more substantial meals on offer.

Today we had the pleasure of meeting some of the crew from Workington & Whitehaven fire service. They will be joining us over the next couple of weeks to practice handling horses incase of an emergency. Keep up the good work! 🚒🚨

Waiting for there supper 🐴🐴

Thought she was joking when she said she was going to bring Jojo back into work ! First time sat on in 4 years and walked out absolutely perfectly! ( And stayed sound ) It’s been along 4 years getting her right ! So chuffed with her today 💕

8yo 13.2hh fell X mare. Up to date with farrier, vaccinations and dentist. Good for farrier, currently bare foot but has previously had shoes. Very easy to handle by all, including tacking up turning out etc. Loads and travels well. Green for age but has alot of talent and is willing to learn. Can work in a contact in the walk and progressing in the trot and canter. Due to us not needing to shes only lightly hacked with us. She was a bit looky but don't think it'll take her long to get use to it. We think Luna would excel in a pony club/jumping home as when we have free schooled her she has shown lots of talent, unfortunately due to no rider she is a little green jumping under saddle, very honest just hasn't jumped huge amounts. We don't feel she would be suitable as a first pony, although very bombproof, Luna prefers to have a job. If she was bigger we'd be keeping her as she's such a fun smart loving pony. Serious enquiries only 5* home required £6500 to include tack
