I currently have five small rescue dogs which are very much part of my life. My dog’s have at least one good long run / walk a day. Its not always about long walks but the quality of the walk and time spent with my dogs. I like to look after a clients dog how I would want mine to be. Every dog is different that is why I always do a meet and greet with clients and their pets. I offer a free 30 minu

te meet and greet in your home to discuss the tailored care needed for your pet. Nothing is too much trouble :)
I live in Coggeshall and base my work in the surrounding area.

Find the jack Russell 😁 this little minxy madame Bindi Boo decides she doesn't want to walk with me. So off she goes. 20 mins later, calling looking I saw a movement in the field of sugar beets. There she was watching me trying to find her 🀣 she thinks this is a great game ❀❀

CV19 update
Please note that for the time being I am not taking on any new clients. For current clients if you become unwell please let me know ASAP. I will not be able to walk any dogs from a CV19 positive household with any other dogs or take them in my car.
I will keep on doing what I have been doing for the last few month's. Sanitizing my hands, using my own leads, washing them twice a week, washing the seat covers, wiping down the inside of my car, minimal contact with your dogs. Fingers crossed, things can only get better

2020 has been a difficult year for many people. Mine has been made so much easier by my amazing friends and clients. We had weeks of lockdown you were there for me. Back 6 weeks and I fractured my ankle and spiral fracture of the fibula. Clients and friends were their to help me with my own dog's, shopping and when I started working again. 2020 has taught me a lot of things. Number 1 is that people are there when you need them. I cant thank you all enough for making my life a lot better

One of my own terriers Bindi Boo had to have her right eye removed last week. The vets and I worked on an eye ulcer but sadly it deteriorated into a melting ulcer that was destroying other eye. She has had a few ops in her life. Rescued from ireland by the dogs trust and front leg was deformed so needed operations and a custom made plate inserted. She is the happiest little dog I know. Cant leave her at home when I walk my own dogs so the buggy is great

Coffee in bed with the gang πŸΎβ˜•
Its end of week 5 and progress is good. Doing more walking without the crutches. Had a friend drive my car so I've had 2 slow short walks with my dogs, which we all loved. Even got to see my friend and fellow dog walker Kate Middleton
This morning I managed to have a shower!! 5 weeks of flannel washes!! It was heaven β€πŸ’§ I'm back to see the consultant on 26th so keeping all crossed 🀞that I will be able to do more and get back to my life and independence. Again a BIG thank you to everyone that's been helping me through this xx

Yesterday I had the cast taken off, more xrays and now have a boot I can take off when resting. I am also more mobile. Still very painful. I have to go back next week for more xrays to make sure the fractures are stable and are not shedding any bone fragments. Fingers x'd I will be ok and can start working again in September

Yesterday was a very traumatic day. I have a spiral fracture in the smaller leg bone that attaches to my ankle. How did I do this? Lost my footing on a small step, foot stayed and I fell. Twisted the ankle, heard a crack and knew immediately I had broken or fractured tired it. I'm now laid up for 6 weeks with a cast, cant put my foot to the floor. Basically I cant do ANYTHING! lucky with work most clients are at home. . This is going to be a very hard time as I will have to rely on other people which is a hard thing to do but I have no choice. I cant thank people enough for all the offers of help. Be warned i will be calling you. I'm now going to drink my coffee from my flask and have a read of my kindle. Happy Sunday everyone

Been back up and running for a few weeks now and loving it. Yea it was a bit stressful to start with but we all know the rules. A huge thank you to all my clients that are back with me. To everyone else I'm here when you need me. Stay safe and have a lovely weekend.

I watched Boris’s announcement this evening with interest but my business will remain closed until DeFRA and the CFSG relax their guidelines for dog walkers so that I can:

a) mix dogs from different households
b) transport dogs in my car
c) not have to disinfect the dogs/leads after each walk

If I do not adhere to the above my insurance would be invalid.

If any clients are returning to work, become ill or need me to walk their dog please get in touch and we can arrange solo walks from your house.

The CFSG are meeting tomorrow so I may have news in the next few days.

Keep safe everyone, i thank you for your continued support and kind messages. Hopefully we’ll be back to normalish soon xx

Sadly for the next 3 weeks I have made the very hard decision to close my business. Hopefully we can all get back to normal very soon. I will miss all the pets I care for daily but this has to be done for all our safety. If anyone has an emergency then I will do my best to help. Meanwhile you might see my car out and about as I'm on the volunteers list for coggeshall doing shopping and chemist pick ups. Oh and also running my own dogs. Keep safe and I look forward to being back to normal soon x
