The RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch has returned for another year and taking part is a
great way to give the charity valuable insights into how are wild birds are faring.

This year’s event takes place on the 24th, 25th and 26th of January across the UK. All
you have to do is spend an hour watching and counting the birds in your garden,
balcony or local park, then send the results to the RSPB.

1) Cut an inch off the bottom and place in a bucket of water in a cool place until required.
