It all started with a Greek stray! My husband and I brought Shirley back from Rhodes when she followed us around all holiday. She was a matted mess and was given a short, back and sides in the quarantine kennel. There weren’t many groomers 20 years ago so I went to college to learn how to groom her, then to Somerset to train to be a groomer and so it all began.

This is me (Sam) in around 2010 with Spanner the Cocker Spaniel who was my model for the City & Guilds L3 exam. I grew him out from a clip off and later that day after the exam I shaved him all off again 🫤 If you’d like to train to be a qualified Dog Groomer get in touch for 1:1 tuition with me.

Last night after the end of the 2 day Grooming Grand Slam Show I was awarded Best in Show 😳🏆😁with Steve the hand stripped spaniel.

We are excited to announce that in addition to our dog grooming service, we are now accredited to provide City & Guilds Training Courses in Dog Grooming. Having taught these courses at Writtle University College for a number of years, we are thrilled to be able to provide these from our salon. Please share the news.
