My name is Dannielle and I am a fully insured Dog Walking & Pet sitting Business. I am DBS checked & Qualified in Dog Walking & Pet Sitting! I absolutely adore animals of all nature, I have always been around animals within my family home when i was growing up and it has always been my dream to work with them, so to say I now do is a real pinch me moment! I have my own dog called Waffle who is a 4

year old miniature dachshund. Ways i'd describe him is, he is very loving - quite literally what I like to call a 'velcro dog' who does not leave my side! Wether you have a new puppy that you need checking in on, a long day at work and you'd like somebody to check in on your kitty cat, an energetic dog that needs a midday walk or your planning a weekend away and would rather somebody look after your pet from the comfort of their own home - I can help! 🐾🐶 Dougie Update 🐶🐾

We have nearly had Doug Doug’s for 2 months 😱 that’s gone so quickly 🥹

He has made such progress and settled in so fast, we are sooo grateful. 🥰 he’s just such a content little boy. He loves absolutely everybody we have introduced him to & really responding to ‘down’ now as when he gets excited he loves to jump up 🙈🙊 we have taught him that until he sits he won’t get pets and he is stopping with the jumping and going into a sit soooo much quicker now even without the command. He’s only 7 months old and full of energy so I’m really pleased with this 🥹. He also absolutely adores our son Jesse. They are going to be thick as thieves growing up together ❤️

He knows ‘paw’ and ‘on your bed’ and is so settled in his crate. Honestly he’s doing so well. We’re currently working on ‘place’ and ‘wait’ which he is absolutely smashing to! 🥹🤩

Out on walks we are just working on his over excitement as any human he see’s he just wants to say hello so we’re focusing on teaching him that basically the world doesn’t work like that 🤣 no everybody wants to say hi so just keeping ‘hellos’ to a minimum at the moment. He loves going on walks with his adopted brother Waffle although is very jealous when waffle is off lead 🙊 soon come Dougie soon come!!

In terms of Waffle & Dougie’s bond id like to think they have formed a little ‘pack’ now. They are more then happy in each others space and play very very frequent throughout the day. Waffle looks out for him for sure and Dougie loves being with him. When they’re on there own in the living area and we go in they are often in this spot on the sofa together 🥹.

So so proud of them both as Dougie has really learnt to calm down & Waffle has accepted Dougie into his life, it took a bit of time but it’s so rewarding when you see them together. My boys 🥹🥰

The Happy Hounds Club Christmas Raffle
🎄🐶🐾🐱🎅🏻

Christmas is a time for giving ❤️ so rather than presents for all my gorgeous 4 legged fur friends at THHC this year I have decided I’m going to be sending a donation to the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT from us all)! 🥰

They have 5 rehoming centres based in the UK - the closet to us being in Little Clacton 😃. They look after & help to re-home dogs, cats & small animals. 🐱🐶🐰

So, for every pet I currently have on my books (which I have counted 30 so far😁) I will be donating £2 so that is already £60 in the pot.

But even better - if the donation is made between the 3rd & 9th of December then it will be DOUBLED by the charity😍!

🌟To help raise more money for THHC’s donation I am going to be doing a Christmas raffle 🤩 The prize will be a hamper for your pet worth £20. Whether you have a dog, cat, small animal or a mixture of pets at home - I will create a hamper full of Christmas goodies for them if you are the lucky winner❤️💚

Sadly, heaven gained an angel this week - little Pogo. I will always remember your sassy but sweet personality 🙊🥰 a wise girl, who knew what she wanted and loved her pawrents dearly. Although our time together was short I will always remember our little strolls ❤️ fly high Miss Pogo, you will be so very missed 🌈🤍

I had the pleasure of looking after pretty lady Cleo last week 🧡 she’s such a happy girly. We spent time in the garden and indoors playing with her toys, I made a snuffle enrichment activity for her using a tea towel & I also made a puzzle enrichment using a plastic bottle filled with treats - she loved working this one out 😁

My Holiday Sit with Rudy this weekend 😄🐾 it was short but sweet. Rudy is such a sweet boy & was good as gold 🥰 My priority on my holiday sits is simple, to keep your pets happy and content. Being looked after in their own surroundings makes it so much more easier for them when you need to go away 🫶 we go out on lovely walkies, lots of enrichment, playtime, cuddles and just stick to their normal routine as much as possible. I treat your home with respect & will leave it spick and span 🧼 & bring in any mail / parcels for you. 📫

30min pet visit with Charlie 🥰🫶Charlie has been through a lot before he was with his current owners bless his heart so he can be slightly reactive and wary of new people. I have to say his owner is an absolute gem & was fully open at our meet & greet on how I should approach and build a relationship with Charlie - I am so thankful for this. It’s so important to be as open as you can about your dogs behaviours on our meet & greet so we can keep them as comfortable & happy as possible. 🐾For example, when I popped Charlie’s dinner down I made sure to give him space whilst he was eating, made sure I wasn’t standing over him when I was interacting with him & also when we played ball I kept switching out the balls to help with any potential resource guarding. And when he wanted some alone time I gave him that. ☺️Yes, some of these tips go without saying but switching out the balls was a new one for me & I absolutely love learning from my clients! I can’t wait to build our relationship handsome 🥰 had a great time with you 🐾❤️

Millie may be the smallest but she’s deffo the leader between these two on our walkies 🙊🥰 they honestly both walk so well together! And yes I am the crazy dog lady running around on the field with them 🙈😂❤️

This really helps us! Sometimes my dog Waffle can be quite reactive when he is caught off guard by other dogs approaching and things like that. Now by no means am I a dog trainer. But if I’ve found something that works for us I’m going to share it 😁 This in particular is really great for calming those nerves & anxiety of every little movement and noise around your dog on their walk. Helping them to relax & enjoy their walkies not feeling so ‘on edge’.🥰
