Hi all. I’m volunteering (whilst visiting sue) with a group of ladies at a nursing home. They love knitting and have decided to knit hats booties and blankets for premature babies. But we have hit a problem, lack of wool. Is there anyone with bits and bobs of wool that would just be sitting in the cupboard that would be happy to donate to our project. If so please comment and we can arrange to collect it from you.

Next step on the boys business experience was to make an advert. This is Alfie’s work.

Educating the boys in business planning, finance, marketing and sales.
I gave them some money to spend at the wholesale and we came home with sweets and bags. Each bag weighs 100g containing a lolly, big cola bottle, shrimps, blue spaghetti and marshmallows.
Their challenge over the summer is to sell these bags at £1 each to see if they can make their money back and possibly a profit. They will keep an account of their sales and package everything themselves (with ppe on).

Ps they have also been told not to eat the stock 🤣🤣😊😊

This was the post I’ve been dreading.
K passed away peacefully this morning at a grand age of 27. Unfortunately arthritis in three joints, a skin issue plus not being able to keep weight on we’re all factors that lead me to take the kindest route.
She was the original orange horse, one in a million and I will never find one like her again. She was patient for anyone learning weather it was ridden or on the floor but if you knew what you were doing she had a cheeky way of slipping in a canter.

Well she’s made it to the grand age of 27. Happy birthday orange one, I’m looking forward to spending more time with you in the spring 🥰😍😘
