Medivet Colchester Maldon Rd is closed today due to skeleton staff; all calls and enquiries are being forwarded to our sister practice London Road Veterinary Centre where they can answer your questions.

As the Easter weekend approaches, it’s an important time to be reminded about chocolate & the danger it imposes to our dogs🍫

Theobromine is the toxic ingredient in chocolate that can be fatal to our pets, and unlike us, they process caffeine in a different and sometimes more dangerous way‼️

Be vigilant with dogs around chocolate and make sure you know what to do if they ingest it✨
