Is she the best cat baker in town? πŸˆβ€β¬› πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³

This little lady had a short visit at our veterinary clinic after not being claimed after being found as a stray 😒

Fortunately she only spent a very short time at Danaher Animal Home - RSPCA before finding her perfect home 🏑 πŸ’•

Willow and Derrick had a great time visiting the Ramsey and Dovercourt Crusaders last week. The group had been working hard on their questionnaires, assessing their thoughts on pet ownership, so it was great to run through our presentation to an already well informed audience.

Thank you to Nigel and his team for all their support β˜ΊπŸΎπŸ’™

Our amazing fundraiser, Leif, is becoming a media superstar and his story should be hitting the this week. Leif has a radio interview lined up for 12.15pm on Wednesday with Ben Fryer of BBC Essex. Also that morning, the TV cameras will be turning up for a spot of filming, while Derrick gives Leif an award at his school assembly.

Please, I implore each and every one of you to share this precious little face far and wide in hopes of reuniting him with his loving family. Just today, this sweet boy was brought to us after suffering a tragic accidentβ€”struck by a car. His little hind limb is broken and needs urgent attention. He was discovered by the roadside at 11:00 am, near the Tesco in Chelmsford, on the route to Broomfield Hospital from Great Baddow in Chelmsford. Despite the pain he must be feeling, he remains such a gentle and friendly soul, and it breaks my heart to think that his family may not even realise he’s missing yet. Let’s come together and help bring him back home where he belongs!
If you think he belongs to you please contact 0300 323 0403 opt 2 opt2 between 09:00am - 04:00pm.

We have had some incredible donations at our Frinton Charity Shop. Just take a look at some of these beautiful gifts, wonderfully displayed by our brilliant team of staff and volunteers over on the Sunshine Coast. The generous donor of these items also kindly filled out a Gift Aid declaration so we can claim an extra 25% from HMRC - that'll help a lot of animals in our care.
Pop down to 68 Connaught Avenue to see the goods for yourself πŸ’™πŸΎβ˜Ί

Like all charities, we rely on kind donations from the public, so if you're a UK tax payer, please could you Gift Aid your donations? Whether you're donating money or items to be sold in our charity shops, we can claim back an additional 25% on the value of your gift.

Willow's wondering if she can claim an extra 25% of breakfast tomorrow

We had lots of great toys donated over the weekend and these are on their way to be sold at our Prettygate Shop in Colchester. The money we make in our charity shops goes to help all of our animal welfare work including caring for animals rescued by the RSPCA Inspectors. Del Boy and Willow think it's great too.

Please note: Our animal care advice aims to help owners meet their animal’s needs as required by law. We receive many calls from members of the public concerned about the welfare of animals, each one is assessed to determine the level of suffering. As a charity with limited resources we’re not always able to respond in the way that would be ideal or as quickly as the emergency services can. In some instances we may not be able to respond at all, due to the way the RSPCA must prioritise the welfare concerns that are brought to our attention.
