The time has come for Leo to find a new human, this is a really hard decision so please only message if genuinely interested.

Leo is 15hh, 13 years old and has a gorgeous temperament. I would love for him to go to a home to do some hacking, low level dressage and fun rides etc. He will be your best friend and make you laugh. He does windsuck and needs a kind quiet farrier but otherwise he’s great to clip, bath and do all of the things to. Doesn’t kick, bite, rear or buck. Can be fidgety to get on but never an issue. He’s up to date with his vaccs and worming & dentist due November. I’ve not been riding him so he’s unfit but a very good boy however not suitable for a novice as I don’t think that’s the right home for him. No dealers or time wasters as he’s too precious. I want a forever home and his price is very reflective of the fact his home is more important. Happy to share his full history.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about horse care and committed to supporting the daily needs of our dressage horses. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a quieter but supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•Daily care and grooming of high-performance dressage horses
•Preparing horses for training, competitions, and shows
•Tack cleaning and maintenance
Managing feeding schedules and maintaining the •Overall health and well-being of the horses
•Mucking out, turning out, and bringing in horses as needed
•Assisting with veterinary and farrier appointments
•Keeping the stable, tack room, and grooming areas clean and organized
•Traveling to competitions with the team, providing high-standard support during events
•Monitoring horse health and behavior, promptly reporting any concerns to management

Qualifications:

•Proven experience working with dressage or high-performance sport horses is preferable
•Strong knowledge of horse care, grooming, and stable management
•Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
•Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
•Physically fit, able to handle the demands of the job
•Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays
•Confident in handling a variety of horse temperaments
•Ability to travel with the team to competitions
