Did you know that we are fully licensed to sell dog & cat wormers and flea and tick treatments? These products are not available off the shelf and have to be prescribed by myself or Claire. Unlike the vets we do not charge a consultation fee. We have scales in the shop that your are welcome to use at anytime. So why not pop in for some advice. All at very competitive prices

Good morning, well maybe the weather is not good!!! Friday and Saturday were lovely, thought that was our summer starting, maybe not. Another busy weekend for us. Saturday morning busy in the shop, then a trip down to Poynder to watch Kelso take on Watsonians and boy that was a close game but Kelso coming away with the win. Fairly quiet night and Sunday saw us at Berwick with the girls and what a great tournament they gave us to watch. Winning all their games, they should all be very proud of themselves. Needless to say Peggy was in her element being the centre of attention and cheering the girls on. And now is Monday, coming back to work for a rest.

And just like that another weekend over. What is going on with this weather?? Yet another busy weekend for us watching rugby, nothing better. Started off on Friday night and headed to Duns, Harry starting his first game with Kelso Sharks and coming away with a brilliant win 50 - 7 in aweful weather one minute it was pouring with rain, then the pesky midges came out, needless to say I have a fair few bites. Saturday morning was busy in the shop, then down to Poynder to watch 1sts take on Gala, again Kelso coming out tops. Sunday and again down to Poynder to watch the ladies take on Gala in the Eilidh Walker Memorial Cup, very emotional game but the girls gave us a great game and Kelso are the first name on this very special cup. Home for a quiet night in front of the tv and now it’s Monday again.

Good morning and it looks like it’s going to be a nice day. How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was jam packed with rugby. Started off on Friday night down at Poynder where the seniors took on Biggar and yes Harry is now playing with the big boys!!! Yes it was just a friendly but they gave us a great game and Kelso coming away with a win. Saturday morning in the shop, then a stop off to pick up the troops and off to Gala. Connie’s turn as the girls were playing at the 7’s. Girls done good, lost 2 games and won 1, it will just take time, they are a new team. Sunday was the usual tidying up and getting ready for the week ahead.

And just like that it’s Monday again. Over 900 miles done over the last few days but it was worth it. Attending 4 shows. First was Paignton on Friday and coming away with a 2nd. Up to Crick for the weekend and picking up a few more rosettes 1st, 4th & 5th. Great time was had but I must say it was a struggle to get up this morning. Don’t think Peggy will be up to much today!! Good luck to all attending Coldstream Civic Week, hope the weather is kind.

Yes it’s nearly Civic Week and my helpers yesterday aka Connie & Stuart were busy making up the goodie bags for the pet show next week. So bring your pet along to the Pet Show on Tuesday at 10am at Home Park and pick up one of these goodie bags

Good morning. How can it be Monday again and nearly August, where is the time going!!! What a busy week we have had. Nice afternoon on Saturday at Border Union show, where Peggy was in her element being the centre of attention. Sunday up at silly o’clock and headed down to Leeds Championship show. First up was Connie and her model aka Peggy in Points of the dog assessment and coming away with 100% pass. Connie well on her way to her judging career, great to have so much support round the ring. Nothing for the dream team in the breed class but looked beautiful and handled expertly as always. Connie handled 2 lovely bullmastiffs and boy did they do good. Winning 2 firsts, RCC, best veteran in beeed and then group 3 in the group. It was a very long day, home in the early this morning, so I don’t think we will see much of Peggy & Connie today. All to do it again this weekend, Paignton on Friday and then Crick at the weekend, we must be mad!!! So that means the shop opening hours are altered this week and deliveries are limited. Have a good week.

Good morning. How was everyone’s weekend? Weather was hit or miss. Luckily it stayed dry for the parade at Kelso Civic week on Saturday, where Connie was partaking with the rugby, dressed as a golf player!!! And if you recognised our local butcher!!! Sunday saw us at Hawick & District open show held at Jedburgh, where the girls done good, 1st in breed class, best of breed, group 3 and a 4th in the stakes class. And it stayed dry, bonus. Monday again!!!

Well this weather is a lot more like it, do you think summer is here, fingers crossed. How was your weekend. Yet again another busy one for us. Busy morning on Saturday in the shop, then a wee trip to Middlesbrough to pick up Harrys new car and I must say it’s very nice, love the colour. Then it was up at silly hour on Sunday and head off to Blackpool Championship show. The girls done good, 4th in a lovely stakes class, 4th in the breed class then a 3rd at Northern Great Dane Championship show. It was just a bit too hot, Connie and myself have definitely caught the sun and that was with factor 50 on. Peggy still sound asleep when I left this morning, don’t worry Connie only 1 week to go till the summer holidays.

Good morning. What is going on with this weather??? Thank goodness it stayed dry on Saturday as we had the long drive down to Kelso for Border Union Championship Show!!! My girls done great yet again. Very respectable 4th in the breed class behind her sister Elsie, those 2 are so funny together, double trouble!! Then it was Peggy & Connie’s turn in junior handling and a 3rd for the dream team. Had a bit of a break to watch some judging tgen they were in again at the Scottish Great Dane Club Championship Show and a 2nd this time. Home for a quiet night, then up early to take Connie back to the show, this time to steward. Think Peggy will be glad of the rest today. All to do it again next week at Blackpool

Good morning everyone and it looks like it’s going to be a nice day, bit cool this morning though. How was everyone’s weekend? We had a great meal at The Caddy Mann on Friday night. Sunday saw Connie, Peggy and myself up early and headed to Dundee for a dog show. They were in first at 8.30 but the early start was worth it as they came first in SKC junior handling, so that’s them qualified for the final next year. Needless to say my girls had an early night, it’s tiring work you know. At least next weekend will not be a long journey as it’s Border Union championship show at Kelso.
