A little update
So most of you know I had surgery on my wrist at the end of July to remove a cyst that was pressing on my tendons and causing me a lot of pain. Unfortunately the cyst has made a return and it’s really hurting, I’m struggling with trimming faces and lifting heavy dogs. I am going to speak to the doctors and see what they can do but I don’t think they will operate again. Hopefully it stays as is but for now I may ask owners for a hand getting their dogs onto the table or in the bath. I’ve stopped taking on new clients again so I know what the dogs behaviour is like before I groom them and put on any wrist support if needed. Not the start to 2025 I needed but oh well 😂
Also, there’s a lot of salt on the pavements and I’ve seen a lot of dogs getting sore paws this last week so please rinse your dogs paws after a walk to ensure they don’t get any burns ❄️

Thankyou sooooo much for all of my cards, presents, tips and even gifts for my dogs 🥹 I appreciate every single thing so much I am overwhelmed.
One thing I am even more grateful for is all of my wonderful clients for keeping me in business for another year, you really are all the best and I am so lucky to have such amazing dogs to groom ❤️
In 2025 we will be entering our SIXTH?! 😱 year in business!! Where has the time gone?! I just want to say a massive thankyou from the bottom of my heart once again for keeping my little dream of being self employed alive and having a successful business 🥹 now for a well deserved rest. We will be back in Jan! Xx

My name is Emily, and I am a crazy dog lady to put it simply!

I have been grooming for 5 years and I regularly attend seminars/grooming shows to keep up to date with the latest grooming techniques and trends. I have recently started entering grooming competitions in the terrier hand stripping classes with my own dog as I hope to one day own a show Scottish Terrier! All breeds and all ages are welcome at Kiba & Co. Dog Grooming.

Kiba & Co. is inspired by my own little dog Kiba, as you may have guessed! She is a 3 year old Miniature Schnauzer and she is my little ray of sunshine. A lot of you may recognise her as ‘ the dog with pink/purple ears!’. The dye I use on her is specifically formulated for animal use :) I also have a Scottish Terrier who is 1 year old, Nessie which makes up my gruesome twosome! They love nothing better than playing together as loudly as possible, barking at everybody and getting absolutely filthy... not a good advertisement for a dog groomer haha!
