Had fun making these Halloween foraging boxes. If you would like 1 drop me a message. We make these all the time to keep our birds entertained and to use their natural instincts, which is to forage. We do sell these and donate to our local parrot rescue. They contain nuts, fruit, shelby dry mix & seed, mikey and mia dry mix and seed. Kinda like a parrot picnic, treat box and toy all in 1. They can also be personalised to your parrots, likes, dislikes and size. Happy to post if needed and will be shrink-wrapped to keep them fresh.

We are going to be moving all our stuff over to The 3 Macawteers. It's hard to manage all the social media on 2 different pages aswell as joans north wales parrot rescue. We will keep page open for a while but most posts will be on The 3 Macawteers. It also saves people on muliltiple pages seeing the same posts over and over again. Coconut, blueberry, mixed flaked nuts, flax, banana, mini macaw muffins.
Broccoli, Cauliflower, mixed peppers, fresh basil (I grew), Mikey & mia spicy seed, parrot pizza.
Sweet potato, cauliflower, beetroot, carrot, shelby calming seed, birdie baguettes.

Last week we made
Parrot pops (broccoli, cauliflower, beetroot, sweet potato)
Parrot pizza (broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potato, mikey & mia spicy seed mix, mixed peppers)
Birdie baguettes (mikey & mia very veggie, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato, flax)
Macaw mini muffins (lemon, lime, coconut flour, shelby calming seed mix, ginger)
Flapping Jack's (oats, goji Berry, mixed nuts)

Chop boxes complete. We love helping out our local parrot rescue with making them fresh food.

This week, we have baked.
Parrot pizza made with broccoli & cauliflower flour, red, green & orange peppers, finger, red & green chilli, sweet potato & carrot, topped with peppers and a little chia.
Flying Jack's made with oats, flax & goji berries.
Mini macaw muffins made with coconut flour, goji, banana, mikey & mia fruity flockers & flaked nuts (pistachio, Brazil, Hazel, almond, walnut) topped with flax.
All are human friendly, so if u want to share, you can, but be careful with the pizza as it has chilli in. Baked fresh this evening, ready for collection tomorrow after 12.30. All items are freezeable, and my chief testers the 3 macawteers all approve, so let us know what ur birds think x

Today I baked

Flapping Jack's = oats & oat flour, fresh lemon, fresh lime, fresh ginger topped in shelbys calming seed.
Macaw muffins = sweet potato, courgette, carrot topped with mickey & mia flower power
Parrot pizza = peppers, corrinander from my garden, sweet potato, courgette, carrot, peppers topped with mikey & mia very veggie.
Think my pizza a little over done on bottom so lesson learnt as was very wet but well happy with the rest x

All birdie n human friendly if you want to try them and freezable so just take out what u need when u need it x

Will need all chop box/sprouts orders in by tomorrow so can get your veg. Thank you to orders already placed. When you buy from us it helps Joan have time off chopping and prepping food for the birds and provides them with food too so ur helping the rescue as well as ur birds x

Chop box and super sprouts orders being taken until Friday. All money raised goes back into feeding the rescue birds and gives Joan a much needed break from chopping the birds feed. Feed your birds fresh healthy foods for breaky and you will notice a difference in behaviours, hormones and condition of new feathers. Over time they will be a mich gealthier bird.. 1 of the adopted rescue birds hated chop 6 to 8 weeks ago but his human stuck to her guns and he is now eating fresh foods so it shows all birds will try and decide they like chop over time if you stick to a plan.
