Here's our handsome boys Hercules & squash enjoying some tasty treats 🥬🍎🫑
These two gorgeous boys came into our care separately after both were found to be living in poor conditions and understandably there were concerns for their welfare.
Due to a blossoming friendship between these two over a period of time we have been able to successfully bond them together and they are now looking for a guinea pig home 🏡 to call their own ❤️

🐾HAPPY ENDING🐾
We have had a lovely update from treacle's adopter. She has only been in the home for a short period but has made great progress with her new guinea pig companion and as you can see they are now the bestest of friends 😍
🌸 Darling Dora has been in our care for 2️⃣7️⃣5️⃣ days! 💔
🐾 Spayed female
🐾 5 years old
🐾 Can live with another cat
🐾 Can live with children 11+
Dora came into our care from a saddening cruelty case & has shockingly still not found herself a home to call her own 💔
Dora came into our care completely terrified of humans, and as you can see from the video, has come on leaps and bounds!
This little lady is looking for a home who can be understanding of her hesitancy around humans, but we suspect that it won't be long until this girl is a complete sofa snuggler!
Dora is in a forever-kitten package with bundles of energy, tons of character and a petite stature, she is sure to fill the hearts of her new family ❤

🐾ADOPTED 01/09🐾
❤ The affectionate Mr. Stubbs is still awaiting his furever family! ❤
🐾 Neutered male
🐾 2 years old
🐾 Can live with other pets
🐾 Can live with children
🐾 Microchipped & vaccinated
😻 Mr Stubbs affectionately gained his name when his tail had to be amputated after he lived as a stray and got a nasty tail wound, but let us tell you; this hasn't touched this boy's stride!
Mr Stubbs has won over the hearts of staff and volunteers alike with his adorable chirps and comedic character. He knows exactly what he wants and will go about it in the most mischievous ways. Keep your bags closed and your drawers shut as Mr Stubbs will see an adventure in every situation, if you hear rustling and chirps then you know he's found something interesting!
Mr Stubbs will keep any adopter very entertained with his antics but will also make up for this mischief in the most affectionate of ways. This boy LOVES a snuggle! If you want a lad full of character who doubles as a furbaby to keep your lap warm in the evenings, Mr Stubbs is definitely the boy for you.
We don't think there is a soul that Mr Stubbs hasn't attempted to make friends with so he could potentially live with another cat or a cat-friendly dog, providing that a gradual introduction is made, and he could live with children of any age. 🐈
If you feel that Mr Stubbs is the guy for you, then please fill in one of our application forms below:

🐾ADOPTED 🐾
Meet our gorgeous girl Jasmin!
This lovey lady came into our care along with other cats due to concerns for their welfare. Jasmin has watched many of her feline 🐱 friends find their furever homes 🏡 but she is sadly still waiting for hers and we can't understand why.
This beautiful girl is such a sweetheart 🥰 who desperately craves affection and attention. As soon as the staff or volunteers enters her enclosure she will come bounding straight over, purr to her little hearts 💕 content and rub her little head and knead her paws into you to instigate that she wants a fuss.
Jasmin would make a perfect addition to any home especially a family as we feel she could live with children of primary school age who have had experience with cats before. she is a really affection, loving lady and needs a home where she can enjoy all the love and attention she deserves.

🐾HAPPY ENDING🐾
Here we have a double happy ending. Luigi was an ex centre rabbit who was adopted last year sadly his wifebun who he bonded with in the home passed away but thankfully we had just the bun 🐰 to make him hop, skip & binky once more.
Dolly now known as Daisy has come on leaps and bounds after spending most of her time in our small animal unit being very wary and cautious of her surroundings but here she is in her new home and is currently in the bonding stages with Luigi and as you can see it is going very well ❤️
Daisy's adopters have also provided us with a lovely update to go with the video:
"Hello!
Just a quick update about Daisy (Dolly Bunton) and Luigi (Frith). They’re both doing well with their gentle introduction and Daisy is getting more confident everyday 😊"
🐰FLUFFLE TROUBLE🐰
Here we have our fluffle of gorgeous baby bunnies known as lilac, periwinkle, lavender, violet & mulberry 💜
These kits are your typical juvenile bunnies, They love ❤️ to get into lots of mischief & mayhem and are a very entertaining bunch especially when it's time to feed & clean. All our staff and volunteers can't help but chuckle with their adorable and hilarious antics 😁.
They can either go as a pair or as singles, providing they are able to be bonded with an existing rabbit to live with in their new home. We are currently in the process of getting this bundle of bunnies neutered but are waiting for them to become a little more developed to be able to neuter & castrate. If an adoption is completed prior to neutering we will be able provide neuter vouchers if we feel it is suitable and a forever home is around the corner (Our SAU staff will be able to discuss this in further detail upon interest)
Rabbits are intelligent and active animals that have many needs to be met in order to live a hoppy & binkyful life at home. These beautiful boys & girls have only experienced life indoors in our small animal unit so will ideally need to be homed indoors and gradually introduced to the outside world when the weather begins to warm up.

❤️ADOPTED ❤️
Meet the marvelous Miffy!
Miffy came into our care through welfare concerns and has unfortunately been with us for a heartbreaking total of 410 days now, so you can imagine how much we would absolutely love to see Miffy finally find a home of her own. 💔
Miffy is an independent lady who has sadly never learnt the positives of human companionship, so can be understandably wary around people, but despite this, will happily eat alongside familiar people and play with her puzzle toys if she's really warmed up to you!
Miffy loves toys, food, treats and snoozing in the sun so is looking for a home where she can soak up all of these.
Miffy is looking for a chilled out male bunny companion who is happy to spend his days keeping Miffy company with her eating, playing and snoozing!
If you feel that you have the home for Miffy, then please fill out one of our online application forms:

🥕 ADOPTED - DOLLY 🐾
Have you ever wondered why we request 'indoor only' homes for some of our rabbits? Well! Dolly here is a perfect example of why.
Dolly has been in our Small Animals Unit for quite some time now. Initially, Dolly was placed into our rabbit room which provides one pod for indoor access which leads to outside too through a cat flap and down some steps. 🐾
Sometimes, the rabbits in our care find these steps daunting. For a rabbit like Dolly, being nervous already, she found this too scary and refused to use that space. Dolly would hide in a corner of her indoor-space and would shut down when we went near her, even with some tasty treats, Dolly found this set up scary and restrictive💔 It was time to change things up! 🥕
In an attempt to make Dolly's stay a bit better, we moved her to our Rabbit Office where she didn't have to go up or down any steps to get some more space. 🧡 As you can see, Dolly immediately explored this new, large, accessible environment. She became a confident girl who is always flopped on one side. She finds handling easy peasy and greets us at the door every morning 🧡 Dolly enjoys a selection of greens everyday and requests first dibs 🍏🥦 she binkies about and uses the whole room as before she only used a small section of her space!
Dolly is a confident girl who deserves a loving home. Her needs are below:
🥦 a quiet indoor home to relax and continue to grow in confidence
🥦 to be the only pet in the home (or have her own space away from other pets)
🥦 to have the option to bond with a neutered male rabbit (perhaps not now, but sometime in the future) so she has that husbun every rabbit deserves.
🥦 lastly, some tasty veggies (and to keep them coming!)
If Dolly seems like the girl for you, you can find more information below on her profile. If you think Dolly is a girl who deserves it all, our Perfect Match form can be found at the foot of her profile page.

Emma and Cleo are no ordinary girls. 🧜♀️ This pair love to get up to mischief together amongst our Small Animals Unit and love nothing more than to frolic about and play to their heart's content. 🐰
Over the Easter period, we find a large amount of rabbits find their way into our care one way or another so this Easter we aim to spread some helpful information about rabbits to combat the amount that go into rehoming facilities. 💔
Rabbits are social creatures and need to be kept as a pair. Neutered males enjoy the company of a spayed female but sometimes, girls like Emma and Cleo find each other and become the best of buds. 🧜♀️ Sometimes, rabbits find themselves homed with other species like Guinea Pigs and although better than the single life, rabbits thrive off their own species company and are at less a risk of spreading diseases from species to specie.
Rabbits require a large accommodation to be happy and healthy. 🏡 The larger space you can provide, the hoppier your bunny will be. We recommend that for a pair of medium-sized rabbits should be housed in an area measuring at least 3m x 2m x 1m (L x W x H) which includes a sleeping shelter or area measuring at least 1m x 2m x 0.75m (L x W x H) and a large space for them to exercise. Rabbits should be able to have 24 hour access to all areas of their housing to allow them to perform the behaviours they want to, when they want to, afterall...no one wants to stay in a small confined space for a long period of time!
Rabbits live for up to 10 years and can be expensive! 🥦 A bunny requires fresh greens or grass access to keep their ever growing teeth filed down and provide their gut with healthy veggies to support their immune system. If not provided with the right chews, they might take to chewing less desirable things in your home or garden. ❎
At BYM, we would happily support new rabbit owners with their set-up and our experience to ensure they have a happy and healthy life within a l
❤️SPECIAL APPEAL❤️
Our beautiful boys Cookie & Cream are really wheeking that their new furever home 🏡 is just around the corner.
Unfortunately these boys have had a very poor start to life after living in poor conditions in a very cramped cage and did initially suffer from fur loss after a mite infestation.
After some well needed TLC the boys have come on leaps and bounds 💕.
Initially they were both very scared and would stay hidden all day but after several months, lots of tasty treats 🥬🥦🍏 to gain their trust and confidence, a hands off approach and adequate space their personalities have shown through.
They are full of character, Mischief and provide lots of laughter.. They are both very cheeky 😁.
They will need to be:
🐾Housed indoors and be provided with adequate space. Our minimum accomodation requirement for a pair of guineas pigs is 5 x 2.
(C&C cages and small animal panel playpens make great accomodations as they can be increased and decreased in size although our small animal staff will be happy to discuss other suitable accomodations also)
🐾Could live with children of 7-8yrs + provided the interactions are supervised
🐾Will need to be provided with lots of hides - cardboard boxes make great hidey places.
To apply for these beautiful boys please follow the link below: https://forms.gle/MvSV5RE1NoJiskbr5
