Hi thanks for visiting my page! I am a registered celebrant with the Humanist Society Scotland - as as such I’m authorised to conduct Legal Weddings as well as non-legal ceremonies... including vow renewals. I enjoy all aspects of my work which includes Naming Ceremonies as well as preparing and conducting Funerals. I have worked with people throughout my career moving from community development to women’s enterprise development and then teaching! Outside of creating ceremonies I enjoy many things; have always been passionate about creating a fairer, more just society. I love where I live in the Perthshire countryside, although a Glaswegian at heart! Have travelled widely and lived overseas for a time - so quite comfortable providing ceremonies inside or out.... at the side of a loch or up a Munro! Environmental issues are closer to my heart than ever and we have a substantial organic veggie plot where we work towards some kind of semi-self sufficiency. That aside I love getting back to the city when I can for a bit of music, film or just wandering..
Happiest times? Spent with husband Colin...hiking or listening to his brilliant guitar music and songs, or our grown up kids, one an aspiring artist in Glasgow, the other a downhill mountain biker in BC Canada and last but not least our untrainable wee border terrier - Teddy, lovable but permanently selectively deaf to all instructions!
I hope to provide a professional, caring and thoughtful approach to celebrancy and lean towards a relaxed informal style and always with a wee bit of humour injected if possible!
