Quick salon update-

With deepest regret, unfortunately I will be off again next week. I’ve contacted all those affected. I will reassess again Friday next week. So sorry to all those affected.

Thank you for everyone’s support and patience. All the cards, flowers and cake!! Have really cheered me up. You really don’t have to do that, I have been extremely touched with your kindness.

Thanks to all the groomers that have helped out. Really helps the dogs when the groomers liaise with me. Most of you have been happy to wait til next appointment and I really appreciate that! I really really do!

Will update you next Friday. Wendy x

Update-

I have sent an email last night to all customers, should of hit by 12pm
Last night. (Search savvy pet) with full details. If you don’t get it I can attempt to send via WhatsApp. I know some of you couldn’t wait until next time and I have liaised with other groomers, some for a one off. I do have a friend that has offered to help with washes and face trims, nails etc. As stated on the email if you want the details I will gladly pass them to you. You will have to go to her, she is first aid trained and is fully licensed for home boarding. (Someone to bear in mind for future reference too) many other groomers have been very supportive, I’m extremely grateful. I don’t intend on being away for to long, It should be a case of one missing groom and a couple weeks off. Alas if you want to stay with your new groomer I understand, just let me know so I can adjust the diary. Thank you to those customers that have wished me well, even sent cards which is so lovely thank you so much for all your support. Most of you know I’m finding this very difficult, it’s a groomers worst nightmare not to be-able to work. We are self employed and nobody gives us sick pay. I will see you very soon x love to you all.

Little note

Some of you have contacted me with worry. If you really don’t want to wait for me. Please contact me directly and I will suggest the best groomer for your dog, to set you on and I will personally liaise with the groomer. I have a plan and style with each dog. Some of my dogs may not beable to go to other places due to medical and behavioral reasons and I’ve established over time there way. A few weeks extra hair is not life threatening, it maybe you can do with a feet trim or eye trim. I will promise to be in touch. I just need a couple days to work out a plan. So many groomers have offered help, and I absolutely do appreciate it. So please don’t worry x

Much love Wendy x

Sorry if you have received a text reminder, everything is still cancelled. I just can’t get to my system at the moment. I’m still in hospital and hope to have more information for you by Sunday. Everything is on hold for now. Thank you for everyone’s support and patience. Please don’t do any hasty haircuts yet. As soon as I know I will let you know. I may do a mass email for all live customers, make sure I have your correct email. If I haven’t got it please let me have it. Through WhatsApp x I think I’m up to date. I will be uncontactable for a few days but I will let you know soon as I do x thanks again for support and well wishes xx

Urgent 🚨 message for customers

I am currently in hospital at wythenshawe plastics. I have a bad injury to my right hand (not a bite) and all grooms will have to go on hold. I have no idea what will happen in the next few days.
Please bear with me while I heal. As soon as I know more I will be in touch. It’s not been a great start to the year after losing my little dog Larry and now this as you can imagine I am currently
Distraught and hoping for a full recovery. So sorry to let you down, it’s out of my control at the moment. All next week is cancelled and all appointments put on hold. Taking it day by day.

Rosie 💕 I have my older dogs very much in mind this year, as many are in there later years 🥹Purchased new yoga/anti fatigue mats from Artero for all my tables and even for the bath. They will help them to feel comfortable for grooming at every stage. My table is easy to walk on and off, I have a ramp for the bath coming for the few larger dogs I groom. So far they are a hit! I’m not a big fan of belly loops(rarely used). I much prefer them to lie down if they need to. It’s very uncomfortable to have a band pressing on ya bits at any age but definitely when you get older. So the nice new mats will be nice to lie on. Rosie here agrees x

Road state this morning, absolutely no gritting done so please be careful. If you can’t or don’t feel safe coming. Please let me know. Very disappointed in our council this year. Always been gritted previous years, especially as it’s a bus route. Coming heavy now 8:51am
