Highways teams have been working hard throughout the night to respond to . We are prioritising key routes and safety issues and are working to reopen roads as soon as possible – thank you for your patience as we do this.
Many roads have been reopened but a number of road closures are still in place and many other roads require further works, including tree works.
Please take extra care on the roads and drive to the conditions – journeys may take longer so plan ahead.
Please not drive through flood water or through road closure cordons that have been put in place. This is for your own safety and that of our highways teams who are out working on the network.
