Next years dairy is here, ive had a few lists for next year already. I would preferably like them in writing if that’s possible. (When you next see me) I need to write my days off etc then I can write the appointments in the diary and transfer them to the computer. Once they are on the computer I will send them via email. Then your reminders will come 2 days before. If you do want a list, the sooner you get your dates in the more likely you are to get the days times you’d like. I can’t guarantee exact dates as it depends on what’s already been taken. I will do them in the order I’m given the lists. I normally don’t work the bank holidays, Easter etc and ℹ generally take time off in Aug. Next year I won’t be working every weekend, so if you only want weekends please let me know. You don’t have to have a list but to remain a regular customer you must rebook your next appointment before leaving. I don’t have space for new clients but if I do have one off spaces I will firstly offer to regulars, then offer out to new clients as a one off only. These will be at a higher rate as they may take longer than usual due to many contributing factors such as behavior, condition of the coat and style requirements.

I’m back to work on Wednesday. No major rush for any lists. I do want to remain as flexible as possible. Those wanting lists please let me have them by end of September.

So today is my last day of work until 28th aug. Most of you know I’m getting married on Saturday. I wanted to say a huge thank you for all your well wishes, cards and gifts. I’m absolutely blown away with your kindness. Thank you so so much. I will post some pictures of the day when I get chance. I haven’t opened any of my cards or gifts yet, I have saved them all til after the wedding 💒 some have come by posted too. Once again thank you so much, so so kind of you x

Just a little reminder to all my customers that I get married 10th Aug. I have absolutely no gaps, working every day now up and til. I come back the very end of aug. So moving anything is impossible at the moment. Please please don’t miss your appointment as the next gaps I have are mid October. I hope you are all enjoying the weather. Thank you for all the well wishes, cards gifts and even delicious quiche. I’m very blessed to have such wonderful clients. I know things happen, please give me as much notice as you possibly can for cancellations because I’m so time sensitive in the salon. I’ve also had many of my long standing doggies very sadly pass away over the last weeks. I have moved those that float in my diary into those appointments so I still can’t take new at this moment in time. Thanks again for all your support. 🫶🏻

Just a quick reminder to be on time for your appointments and pick up times especially. It really makes a massive difference on the smooth running of the business. I can not take another client in til you have picked up your pet for safety reasons. (I don’t have holding areas, I can’t have them)I also have to fit in breaks and food. Unfortunately I can’t be as flexible with the times of work I have. If you are running late, if it’s safe to do so please send me a quick text. The 15 mins after or before each pick up is to take payment, clean and refresh please bare this in mind. I do understand traffic is terrible at them moment. I think there is something in the water the last few weeks I’m chasing my tail with timings x your support is much appreciated x

Just a quick note to say if you can’t come for an appointment please 🙏🏻 if at all possible given me 24hrs notice. There is a £20 cancellation fee for those that don’t show and no communication given. That fee will apply on next appointments if I can provide them. If you don’t have a list I can’t guarantee I can get you back in the diary. It’s very difficult to fill miss appointments because of the hours I have have to work in. As a small business this makes a big impact. I can’t get that money back. Unfortunately if this is a regular thing and you miss many appointments I will cancel any further appointments and give them to someone that wants the space. I hate to moan but this is my income. No one pays me if you don’t come, and someone else is missing out too.

Second message: prices increase from 1st April.

I do try to keep off my social media because I can’t offer to new clients still. On the off chance I get the odd slot as a one off. I do have my waiting list which I will have to go through soon to see if those waiting are happy to stay with the groomer they are going to, which I would always advise that. Pets are so much happier with the same groomer.

If you are waiting I will need to take an update on the contact details. Many of my older clients are sadly leaving us. Opening the door for a new regular groom to a new client.

Unfortunately I will have to have a price increase. I’ve tried to hold it off but with everything rising I’m left with little choice. If this is going to affect you coming to the salon please do get in touch. I appreciate times are hard. If your not able to come because of this affect please let me know asap.

Prices will increase by £3 for small dogs (Yorkie/Shihtzu)
Medium/large (cockerpoo size and up)by £5.

Cat minimum charge is £30 (maintenance groom) then an add on depending on the extra needs of the cat and the time needed. Eg £30 + 10 part clip £30 +20bath. Lion clips (no bath) £30 + 30 depending on severity of the matting. Another eg £30 + part clip + bath £60, costs may vary again depending on the time and skill required. All grooms are tolerance based only. I don’t make promises with cat owners. If the cat has no tolerance for grooming in my environment then I would recommend maybe a home groomer. After that vet intervention. Cat grooming is a highly skilled service so takes much skill, time and patience.
It’s definitely I thing.

I have a no flea policy, I don’t do any type of flea bathing for cats or dogs.

Hello everyone happy new year 👋 salon updates :

Hope you have managed a rest over the festive break. I have started back properly this week. I have had a lot of enquires about new clients. Unfortunately I still can’t offer them at the moment. Later on in the year I may have gaps, these I will offer to my existing clients first. I’ve nothing for a regular groom. I do only offer a regular scheduled groom that are re booked. Not one offs. I’m not able to take on more cats either. Just the ones I do currently.

You may have noticed that the grooming appointments from 11 are quarter passed the hour. I’ve done this so I’m able to take a toilet break, refreshment and clean before the next client. So if I could ask that you don’t come early. I do add this to my reminder text but many of you still come early. This is the reason for the time changes, but it doesn’t seem to have worked as you still come early 😂. I really don’t mind but I don’t like to leave the dogs unattended while I go to the toilet. So if your a couple mins late it’s really fine. I know you can never gauge the traffic but it would make such a difference to me if you could just come on your time. Felt I should say.

Apart from that everything is good 👍 please feel free to use the drive for parking, we had the drive made bigger so customers could park easily. There is no price increase at the moment. I will have to take a reassess into the year and see what happens with the increases. I will give you all prior notice if I do have to.

Final note of the year x

Just to say this is my final day today. I will be back from 5th Jan. I hope everyone has a really Great Christmas break and a tremendous new year. Thank you so much for all your support of my small business throughout this year and every year. Means so much to me to have so many amazing regular customers that care about their pets so much, you ALL attend regular grooming appointments and make sure that your pets are tip top. As a pet groomer you can’t ask for more than that! Thank you for all your kind gifts 💝 and beautiful cards and well wishes. (Shelby here is the last groom of the year) x

Important notice 🫣

I’m coming to the end of the yearly list bookings. I have a handful to do then all appointments will be booked one at at time. This will be the last year I offer the yearly list unless absolutely necessary or you have multiple dogs. I’m finding people aren’t understanding the process or haven’t seen Facebook or emails with updates on availability left in my diary.

I always start my diary for the following year in September. One at a time bookings will start. 2025.

I don’t want people to be offended if I run out of appointments, I’ve 165 customers to cater for so please make sure you rebook before you leave. May not seem a-lot of people but it’s only me know so believe me it’s plenty. They come every month!! 5,6,7,8,12,16 weeks!!!

I’m so very grateful for all your support. I am overwhelmed how all my customers care for there pets on a regular! Regular basis here ! It’s amazing! Not many groomers can say that. Routine and trust are so important in my service. Makes all the difference to your pets and I feel it shows x

Ps ….I do however understand if you really want a list that’s absolutely fine. Just let me have it by sept 2024. Please don’t panic 😱

Quick important note 📝

I have now completed all the years lists that I’ve been given. Don’t forget I am not generating them this year. If you sent me a list and I’ve not done it please message my WhatsApp 07752156591 or text me and I will investigate. I can still do your list but I’m only doing what you give me or nearest I can. Everyone else please book your appointments one at a time. (But…just don’t forget lol)

Don’t forget I will be off from 9th aug to 27th as I’m getting married and we are having a family holiday. I can’t work bank holidays: Easter and my day off is every tues. My hours are mon- fri (except tues) sat 9-1.

Just to let you now there are no appointments at left for this year. It will run on to Jan/feb now. There are currently only 14 appointments left for Jan. Then runs to feb.

I’m not taking any new clients but if current places don’t fill I will offer the space on my page first for other regulars, then to new people as a one off only. I don’t groom or offer clipping to matted dogs or groom pets with fleas. (Small medium dogs, no more large breeds other than what I’ve confirmed)

If you no longer want to come to the salon, if you could let me know so I can delete your details from the system (data protection) and offer to people on my waiting list.

Unfortunately I’m having issues with my card machine. Seems they have changed the app and now I have to upgrade it. I don’t have what I need, as it’s not been sent. I’ve not been informed!! Oh the joys of modern technology!! 😡

So I’m left with a choice of cash or bank transfer just until Its all sorted out.

I think I’m nearly caught up on all the lists I’ve been given. If you haven’t had yours please message me. Everyone else just make sure when you come you have booked your next one to save disappointment. If you still want a list it’s not to late. I do however want to keep the diary more free to stay flexible. If you need certain dates it is best to pre book.

If yours have been done you will have a contract sent first to sign and send back and you list will follow.

Just a quick note:

I’ve had many people message me recently wanting appointments and I have to turn them away, as I still can’t take new pets. I do feel awful that I can’t help. Unfortunately now I’m at home I run my business completely different to the big salon. None of my clients cross over. I do not have holding areas. I work certain days and times due to the council’s sanctions and to respect my neighbours. My year is planned out and organized. For the last nearly 2 years at home it’s been working really well. I’d like to thank all my clients for there supports. Apologies that I can’t do more to help people out but I have little time in the day, I can’t stop and start due to my set working day. This is why I don’t tend to post pictures too.

So apologies, felt I needed to explain.

Happy bank holiday xx quick note 📝

I wanted to wish everyone a great bank holiday. I will be closed, and back as normal tues. Also, a quick note to say that I haven’t started adding the lists Ive been given yet to next years diary. When yours is in I will confirm by email., you can check and make amendments. I will be in touch if the dates you have been given aren’t available to offer alternative dates. So don’t worry. If you wanted to guarantee your whole year then please let me have your list by end of September. I will add them in order I was given them. Everyone else simply make your next appointment each time. Please avoid bank holidays, Easter and every tues as I have my granddaughter. Im also getting married next year, so please avoid 2nd/3rd week in August. I’m still not able to take new clients, I do have grooming requests all the time and I can add details to my waiting list.
I am very fortunate that my clients all come on a regular schedule. I don’t offer one off grooms. So if you wanted to go on my waiting list I only take clients that want a regular service. I like to bond with your pet to ensure they receive the best care and they are maintained properly. I offer manageable styles only.
