Second cut fertiliser has now all been applied, we’re very happy with the new variable rate and precision application Kuhn spreader we upgraded to last year.
It makes sure we are spreading what is a very expensive product exactly where we should be and cuts down on any wastage helping to keep our costs down in the long run and also improve quality as nothing is getting over or under fed !

If you’re looking for a clean crop of haylage to feed to your horses without the fear of dangerous weeds or other plants finding their way into the mix look no further.
We spend a huge amount of time and effort making sure the fields are weed free ensuring the very best sample makes it into the bales.
Some lovely evening sun working wonders with the tedders.
Finally we have a glimpse of some more stable weather so we’re making a more significant dent in the Haylage harvest. The guys will have some long days mowing, spreading and baling over the next few days.
If you are interested in feeding our Haylage please give the office a call. It is all grown and managed from seed to bale in house, we then deliver out using our own wagon and bale handling machines enabling us to offer a guarantee on every bale we send out.
Keep your eyes peeled whilst out on the Farm Ride as we have a new arrival !
Can’t beat the smell of fresh cut grass and there’s plenty of that in this field ! Fingers crossed we can have some reliable weather 🤞🏼Harvest2024
