Winter wonderland …. Looks like we’ve started to thaw out, so all being well outside bookings will resume soon 🤞🏼

Unfortunately for any outside bookings that are coming up this weekend we are going to have to remain closed on the XC arenas and farm ride while we concentrate on keeping the rest of the facilities functional for our onsite liveries.
Fingers crossed with the forecast warming up next week we should be getting back to normal 🤞🏼

Exciting news !

The Woodside XC technique is fully open following a major revamp, huge thanks have to go to Andrews Bowen Ltd and Roebuck Equestrian•Agricultural•Groundworks for helping bring it all together !

There are lots of new jumps and with just over 30,000 square metres of space to get up to XC pace and ready yourself for the coming season there can be no excuses for not being well practiced at the technical options.

There are plenty of sizes and options available for all levels and as you’ll see in the video it’s all linked into the huge water jump facility including ditches too !

Big thanks to John Bownes Ltd for getting us all set up with the extra capacity meaning much fewer visits to the yard to have to refill !

Before Christmas we had the pleasure of fitting this Amazone front tank to Somerford Park Farm 01260299888 JCB Fastrac, to go with the Amazone rear tank purchased earlier in the year. This now means they can carry 3500 litres of liquid. The liquid is continuously transferred between the front and rear tanks ensuring spray agent is always optimally mixed. Get in touch with the sales team for more information on the Amazone sprayer range.

Somerford Park Farm is shut today, Friday 20th December for the funeral of our friend and colleague for over 26 years, Phil Bloor.

Our tenants and all other businesses on site will remain open.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Phil Bloor, a much loved and respected member of the team at Somerford Park Farm for 26 years. He sadly lost his long battle with cancer on Wednesday 4th December.

The funeral service will be held at St Oswald’s Church, Brereton on Friday 20th December at 11am, followed by refreshments at Somerford Park Farm Pavilion.
