This is what Ben thought about his first groom 😂❤️
Hard work having your first puppy groom ❤️
This is the lovely Simba. Here’s his little story.
Hes been with his lovely family for 5 years now but he’s struggling now with a baby in the mix and is finding it hard. He’s become a bit anxious and protective over his owner.
He’s gone a bit shut down and needs understanding to help him come out of his shell.
He had been to 4 groomers before which all had struggled to finish him. His owner knew he wasn’t going to be super smart just wanted him short and his leg matting removed.
We took our time and plenty of rewards when he started to relax.
By the end we were not restrained and wagging our tail even allowed a belly rub.
His owner would like to find him a new home where he can open up more and be himself. She loves him so much but just wants the best for him.
If you have a quiet home with minimal people no children and would like to be considered please pop me a message x
Has a lovely week away and came home and went straight to pick this one up from his stay at horsey hospital. He’s on the mend now thank you to everyone who’s been super understanding for me having to move appointments 🫶🏼
A little snippet of what your pooches get to watch while being groomed here’s one of our resident ducks 🦆 if it’s not ducks it’s Phil the pheasant if it’s not them then it’s the ponies playing in the fields. 100% helps the grooming experience 😊
New pawfumes are in… you can now request what smell you would like your dog finished off with ❤️🐾
Hard having your first puppy groom having to have a nap at the end 💤 🐾
This is bertie he’s an 18 month old Gordon setter. His first ever groom 6 weeks ago he was very unsure and was a lot to handle given he’s a big dog it took a lot of reassuring and going at a steady pace to get him bathed and 80% dry (I hate to send a dog home wet still but I wanted to do what was best for him)
His owner decided this time to walk part the way as he doesn’t like car journeys much either he was a bit unsure of the bath first but then decided it was to bad.
Now I allow unsure dogs to move around as they wish and find a comfortable spot but I was not expecting him to just hope on the table himself when the dryer was turned on and be happy to just sit there and be dried.
This is a huge improvement from last time managed to trim his ears and give him a brush and trim his front feet.
I will not give up on a dog I will try my best but he was so relaxed he lay down while being groomed and took treats off me.
I was extremely happy after this groom with him 🐾
