Morning everyone. Good news! I have the van back. A massive shout out to henley Gardens garage for going above and beyond to get me back on the road as soon as possible. Again, thanks to everyone for their patience and help this week. It's much appreciated

Another day without the van. Today was the busiest day of the week. There weren't many dogs who could manage without me but I still managed somehow. A HUGE thanks to simba and carters granny, who took pity on me and gave me a lift to the next pup. Then came back to collect me. There would have been easily another 10,000 steps done as the next pup was about a 20-25 minute walk away from the nearest bus stop. Then I would have had at least a half an hour walk to the pups after that.
Fingers crossed the van will be ready tomorrow. I'm also very grateful to the mechanic, who has said he's going to stay late tonight to try and get it done as soon as possible. Losing the van is like losing a limb.
Tomorrow will be a bit easier.
Thanks to all of my amazing clients for their patience. Hopefully walks will be back to normal soon

Thanks everyone for your patience this week while the van is having emergency work done. I think I've contacted everyone now. The van will be in the garage until at least Friday. I will still be working for the dogs that are being left all day and have noone to look in on them. As I'm on foot or relying on public transport, times for pick ups will be different.
Take care everyone

My oldest boy vinnie joined me at work today. It was his 16th birthday on Monday and he can still keep up with the younger dogs. Nieva had to stay home. Her head wound still isn't 100% healed but is almost there

Update on my girl Nieva. She's had her final checkup. The vet was very pleased with the way everything is healing. She has been signed off. I just need to finish her course of antibiotics and keep applying the gel to the wound. Nieva loved causing havoc while there. Noone was allowed to ignore her full body wags and whines for attention and cuddles. A massive thanks to the staff at Prince Bishop Vets for taking good care of her

At least lexi enjoyed the strong winds today.

24/01/2025

Morning all. It's a bit windy out there. I will be doing the usual pick ups. For safety, dogs will be mainly kept on lead and walks may be a bit shorter than usual. I won't really know what today brings until the pick ups start. Stay safe out there. If for any reason, you think cancelling may be best, I will understand.

Nieva thanks everyone for their we wishes. She is pretty much back to her normal self now. Her wound is healing nicely. I think the vet will be pleased with everything on her check up tomorrow.

Morning all. I think I have informed everyone booked in today. Just an update on Nieva. Her head wound opened up overnight, which has helped the swelling go down. She is booked back in at the vet for 11.15 to have the wound looked at and give it a good clean. Nieva seems a lot more comfortable this morning now that some of the pressure has been eased. I'll post a pic in the comments. Don't look if you're squeamish. It isn't a pretty sight

Hi all. Apologies for the graphic pic. Just a quick post to let you all know that one of my own dogs needed emergency vet treatment today. She gained an injury on Thursday evening but overnight last night her face blew up a lot. I may need to take her back for further treatment tomorrow. This may affect the times that I collect your dogs. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks everyone x

It's very icy uneven ground out there at the moment. I've still managed to get to some of the dogs so far. Here are some photos from most of today's dogs doing fab poses for the camera.

Morning all. It looks like another dangerous and icy day today. Please let me know what your streets are like. If you feel it's safer to cancel, that's fine. I'll be walking dogs either individually or in smaller groups. Walks will be a bit shorter than usual so everyone is seen to. Stay safe out there x

07/01/2025

Morning all. I've had a couple if cancellations due to the icy back roads. Please let me know how bad your street is and if I need to park elsewhere and walk to collect your pooches. If you do need to cancel. That is completely understandable
