Blind over water onto a bank.
Nothing fancy or complicated. I've not been doing anywhere near enough training with the dogs recently, not even picked up a dummy since last time I posted. Life just takes over sometimes (house reno and work to be honest) and I keep telling myself that's OK even though the inconsistency is driving me insane.
Impressed with chilli's maturity, coming out and answering questions despite being out of practice. Last time I cast her across this pond from this direction I stopped her on the bank and handled her left... so I was fully expecting anticipation from her to do that again but she stopped and thought about it, I kept quiet and let her work it out and only reinforced her with 'back' when she offered what I was looking for. Its such a balancing act with these dogs building confidence and letting them think for themselves without them anticipating... trying to not over handle but having a dog that will be handled 🤯
I liked how she checked in with me, thought about what I was asking her, held the area and used the wind to figure out how to tackle the terrain.
