Behind all those pins is a lovely v***n. Skinned out a while ago but finished today.

Considering I’m still very much a novice when it comes to mammals, I think this has to be my best fox to date!

Woodc**k in flight finished up over this weekend. Always find these tricky but came out okay. Will be finished up as a wall mount by the client

This little lamb is so so close to completion, just needing to make a final wooden base for it to be mounted upon and he’ll be ready to find his new home 🩶

I have been so so excited to see this finished and I’m pleased with the way he has turned out! Little two headed lamb all finished today, definitely the strangest thing I have ever had on the work table but a super fun project ❤️‍🔥

This little chap will be looking for a new home once dried, so if you fancy something that will get a conversation started, this is it!

My first ever badger! I’ve skinned many before but never actually done the full process ❤️‍🔥

Feel super proud of him, especially to have the honour to work on one of these varieties too. He has a bit of road rash and some old scars which I will try my best to patch up 🤞

Can’t get over how small this little Pygmy owl is! Super tricky as she was badly freezer burnt and I’m not too confident on smaller birds.

Beautiful drake eider duck mounted. This was my clients pride breeding birds, and considering it’s one of my favourite species, I felt incredibly honoured to work on him

Stunning red kite from today.

So pleased with how this has come out, it was by far a perfect specimen, with half of its back torn open and bad damaged to the head leaving part bald.
I saw this on the side of the road driving to work and I knew I had to stop and pick it up, so glad I did, it’s been a bucket list bird from the day I started taxidermy 🫶🏻

Really nice Jay finished up today to go alongside the lanner falcon. Super pleased with how this piece came out, will be getting some better photos in the near future especially as I’m hoping to get a website set up 😊

Female juvi goshawk finished today, beautiful bird but will be coming back to look over her with fresh eyes and get some of those feathers better 😴

Lovely female barn owl I picked up from the side of the road yesterday.
Think I’m pleased but I find these birds so hard with their feathers, especially to get that nice smooth look as they’re just so fluffy !!

Spectacled owl commission.

Had some challenges with this one, very badly freezer burnt feet but the injection method worked a treat and I was able to get the pliable

he has also had his wing clipped to one side so missing his primaries which is a shame

Beautiful big steppe eagle mounted up, had some issues along the way but over came him. Still needs so further preening in the feathers but that’s enough for one day 😴

Started restoring this old J W Quatremain otter. Placed his jaw back in and started building up again. Needs some new teeth and paint next!

Spicer mask had a deep clean and removed that thick layer of dirt!! Feeling happy with how it’s turned out but may give him another clean and then move onto the paintwork

First partridge done in about 3 years! This is part one of a 2 bird commission, a pheasant will be mounted up beside it.

Had some real trouble with this one, it was pretty well shot up so lots of broken bones in the legs and wing, on top of that it was in heavy pin and had turned green when skinned out so I really wasn’t hopeful on how it would turn out. But I don’t think he’s too bad! 🤍
