Has been a lovely week having all your wonderful doggos back, fit and healthy. Fortunately only a small number of dogs had the dreaded kennel cough and only mildly.
What a fabulous bunch of dogs I get to spend my days with. Love them all 🥰. Thank you everyone 🐾🐾😁

Thank you to everyone who has commented and private messaged me concerning the welfare of our Olive and other dogs who may have symptoms of kennel cough.
I would like to reassure everyone that there is no blame to be cast. Very often people look to blame someone for their dog catching an infection such as kennel cough. I can’t stress enough that many dogs do not display symptoms, so why wouldn’t they send their dog off to daycare or boarding. I certainly don’t want to put my dogs at risk so would never allow a dog in knowing they had symptoms. I can only act and refuse dogs in if they are poorly.
Many of us are parents and don’t think twice of sending our kids into school with a snotty nose and cough. We don’t look to blame anyone when our kids come home full of a cold. Be kind everyone, don’t judge and let’s look after all our wonderful dogs 🐾🐾❤️

Hi everyone, as most of you will be aware from my K9 WhatsApp group, we have two confirmed cases of kennel cough. One of them is our Olive who is now in isolation.
I would urge everyone to contact their vet should their dog display symptoms of a hacking cough or retching for more advice and information.
What I will say is, just like children going to nursery or school, they pick up all sorts of bugs likes colds, tummy bugs, head lice etc and it is much the same when dogs meet in a park, daycare, kennels and even at the vets. My priority is for the care and safety of all of your dogs and whilst I can keep a strict cleaning regime there are going to be dogs who show no symptoms but can be carrying it and nobody will know. Even when the dog is vaccinated they can still get it but generally not as bad.
All I ask from you is to help me and our dogs by checking for these symptoms and refraining from bringing your dog to us or having walks until your vet says they are clear to do so.

Deano is a 10 year old sprocker now being fostered in Midlothian after his adoption didn't work out.

He is a very active lad, and needs a new home where his adopter will be happy to continue working on his training around meeting other dogs, he's coming on leaps and bounds with this in his foster home and with support from our behaviourist.

Our chefs have got a treat for you this weekend! They have prepared some delicious beef feather blade, cooked it with our purple moose ‘dark side’ ale and served it with some buttery cabbage, mustard mash and a caramelised onion with a beef fat fennel seed crumb. Come and try for yourself! (While it lasts)

It’s been too long since I posted some pictures of your wonderful doggos.
Firstly I would like to make a special mention to Craig Berry, parent of Cocker Willow who has this week summitted Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of our local hospice, St David’s in Llandudno.If anyone would like to make a donation, I have given details on this page. Well done Craig, massive achievement 👏👏.

Also, one of our daycare dogs has found her calling as a therapy dog, (better that than an escapee to Bodnant Gardens🙄), she knows what I mean, for St.David’s hospice also. Both the patients and staff are totally smitten with her.Her mum Tesni Jones must be very proud 👏👏. I love you Maud 😘

Hello folks. Hope everyone is well. I would like to introduce three new starters. First of all we have a lovely lady Sioned, who is not just part of our family but is a new helper to K9 Cross Country. Sioned has a great deal of experience with many animals but especially Guide Dogs for the blind.
We have two new dog friends start called Ricky who is a mixed breed and Simba the French Bulldog. They have settled in a treat with all our regulars. It’s been a lot of fun watching the dogs play in the snow recently.
I think we are all looking forward to some warmer weather though 🐶🐶☀️

Happy New Year everyone.
It’s been such a long time since I posted. Such a busy last twelve months. Thank you all for your continued custom, it’s an absolute pleasure as always to spend my working days with all your fabulous dogs.
It’s also that time when I ask everyone to WhatsApp me their dogs up to date vaccination cards please.
As most of you are aware, I only board two dogs at any one time due to how busy I am with Mon-Fri dog walking and my license from Conwy council states this so please if you are planning a holiday or short break, the more notice you give will avoid disappointment.

It’s lovely to introduce three beautiful new puppy friends, Llew,Billie and Meg. They have settled in very quickly.
I would just like to thank everyone for your understanding in the slight time changes for drop offs and the increase in charges for pick ups and drop offs, this only being due to the ever increasing fuel prices.
Just to remind you that we will be closed from Sunday 17th July-Sunday 24th July. I look forward to seeing everyone again from Monday 25th July. Many thanks for your continued custom. It’s always my pleasure 😁🐾🐾

Hi everyone. The gun dog scurry is going down a treat with all the dogs. Whether it be a sun bed to laze around on, Chase each other around, through or over the bales or a platform to have their photo’s taken…. they love it! A few of the dogs even take it seriously 🤣. Happy dogs 😁🐾🐾

Lovely Louie, a black Cockerpoo and George a Springer Spaniel. Two lovely quiet boys who I love to watch gaining in confidence each week.

Happy January with all your wonderful dogs and fun they bring. A couple of new recruits with Carw the beautiful black lurcher and black Cockerpoo, Louie. Poppy the Springer was giving the bendy poles a go. A very rare trip to the beach with Nutmeg and our Ivy & Willow. The usual chaos with everyone else 😁🐾🐾

I want to start by saying I wish all of you the best of health and happiness in 2022.
I’m so looking forward to seeing everyone when we open up again on Tuesday 4th January, I’ve missed all your wonderful pooches and can’t wait to get moving again on some new walks with them.
I know this is soon after the Christmas break but I will be closed for the day on Thursday 13 th January as my lovely daughter bought us a theatre ticket for Xmas for that day.
As it is the start of the new year could I please ask everyone if they could either take a picture of their dogs vaccination card to show that it is up to date and send it me in a WhatsApp or message/email or show it to me when I come to pick up, I will be very grateful.

Time for a catch up with all your wonderful pooches 😁. A mention and a warm welcome for our latest addition is Dorris the Border terrier who has been quick to settle in. My friend Sonja came over to visit with her young pup… Big Joe Brown, a Dogue De Bordeaux and was picked on by the not so big Sol the Daschund 🤣🤣, Joe as ever was a perfect gentleman. Jenny my friend, who regularly comes to help, brought Jakey, an old regular who is loved by all the dogs and her Gran dog, Badger the Cockerpoo. Beautiful Poppy Springer Spaniel came to stay as did Brook the Spaniel and Boris the Frenchie, and proved to be perfect houseguests 😘.
Lots of fun with our regulars, you know who they are. It’s been so lovely to see the autumn colours and landscape changing, it’s very noticeable here 😁🐾🐾

Hi everyone, we have the last of three new starters over the last two weeks. In the first picture we have the lovely big Lola who is very quick on her paws, secondly we have the very handsome Oscar and next is the sweet Angel and they have all fitted in very quickly with our regular friends.
I’m very sad to say though that old working Spaniel Honey had to be put to sleep last weekend at the grand old age of 14 and a half, we will miss her very much.
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we will be closed on Fri 3rd December- Monday 6th Dec inc, as my van needs to go into the garage for a service on the Fri and I have family commitments over the weekend. Also, we will be closing for Christmas on 24th Dec until Sun 2nd Jan inc.

Catch up time with your wonderful dogs 🐾🐾
I love the first picture sent by Luna’s owner showing her just after being picked up and on her way home 😘. The result of spending a day with fun boy Angus. You will see Luna trying to hide from Angus in the tunnel 🤣🤣.
We have recently welcomed Sian, the young Pembrokeshire Corgi who has made lots of friends straight away. It’s been lovely to have Seth over for a night and also Blossom and Bella the Labradoodles that come in both black or blonde 😘. Joined by are usual friends Elsi, Poppy Spaniel, Poppy Labrador, Luna, Betty, Willow Cocker Spaniel,Bella and Bailey, Koda, Cali, Little and Big Winston’s, Rowlf, Hector, Nutmeg, Louie, Lola, Dylan, Rollo, Dexter and our Ivy & Willow 😁🐾🐾

Picture time!!!! I think we all know who is who now, so will keep it short and sweet by introducing little Sh*tzu Koda who started with us last week and has settled in very quickly.
I think we might be in need of a much bigger sandpit as the little trial pits when down very well 🤣. I would just like to add that no live animals were used in playtime…. Cash and Luna were very enthusiastic about the squeaky pheasant 😂🐾🐾

Very happy to introduce our new friend Luna the Springador, still only a baby but settled in straight away….such a good girl😁.
Little Spaniel Luna showing Jake how easy it is to jump the hurdle 👍. Different moves Jake but no faults 👍. Willow the diva Cocker wasn’t having any of it 🤣. It’s been lovely to see Dylan the Parson Terrier settling in, it’s taken a few weeks but he’s much more settled now. Bella and Bailey are loving spending more time with their new friends. Good to see Milo and Louie since before the start of COVID, they enjoyed their sleepover. We also spent fun days with our regulars Mabli, Cash, Big and little Winston, Honey, Nutmeg, Rowlf, Betty, Lola, Cali, everybody’s friend ANGUS 🤣, Elsi, Hector, Ernie, Poppy Lab and Poppy Spaniel, Rollo, Louie and Bella and Molly who are our perfect house guests 😁🐾🐾

There has been lots of fun with your wonderful pooches this last week, especially with the recent purchase of some agility equipment. With the return of little Dexter, Lola, Angus, Nutmeg, Rowlf, Poppy Labrador and Nimbus were really good sports trying it out 🤣.
Also over the last week, we’ve had fun walks with Mabli, Willow Spaniel, our Ivy & Willow & sister Rudy Roo, Bella & Bailey, Poppy Spaniel, Cooper & Honey, Rollo, Cali, Elsi, Louie, Seth, Hector, my borrow a dog ….. Jake😘 and Cash 😁🐾🐾

Had lots of fun last week and really enjoyed having Monty Pug, Bella & Molly, Poppy and Nutmeg over for overnight stays. I got to borrow an old time favourite, Jake, who’s parents have retired and let me take him out with his friends, Angus, Belle, Elsi and Louie. Also, Ivy and Willow and sister Rudy Roo. Cooper and Honey enjoyed their quiet walks together. Bella and Bailey are happy now to walk out with friends Hector and Rollo. Willow Cocker Spaniel is enjoying more company now with Rowlf, Poppy Spaniel, Hector, Big Winston and Mabli and Cash 😁🐾🐾

Two weeks of catch up and happy to see the return of Ozzie and Dexter if only for a weekend sleepover. Also another return for Loki and his daughter Lexi who we haven’t seen for holidays since lockdown. Willow the Cocker Spaniel, a recent friend to join, has now joined us for daycare each week. Tilly Sprocker had had a sleepover and also Big Winston.
All our other regulars are little Winston, Angus, Cooper and Honey, Mabli, Betty, Cali, Poppy Labrador, Poppy Spaniel, Rowlf, Lola, Nimbus, Elsi, Louie, Cash, Hector, Belle, Seth, Nutmeg, our Ivy, Willow and sister Rudy who has also joined weekly daycare 😁🐾🐾

It’s been an incredibly hot week for our K9 friends this week. Lots of woodland walks with places to have a dip in the water to keep cool.
This week we have three new faces. First picture showing the delightful Bella, a Catalan Sheepdog and little Bailey, a Sh*tzu/Poodle cross., joining us on weekly walks. Next is Bailey the Collie, a very quiet and pleasant natured dog who we hope to see for more daycare. Our other regular characters were Rowlf, who is just so cool with everything 😎, Cooper and Honey the half hour couple, cute Mabli, stick mad Louie. Cash, who makes up his own walks. Rollo who puts the spring in Springer Spaniel. Then there’s Angus 🤣, thinks he’s the next front page pin up of Shooting times magazine 🌟. We had Big Winston and gorgeous Bella sleepover for a few nights and we’re perfect houseguests 🥰.
Beautiful Willow the Cocker Spaniel is becoming more confident now as she is a little nervy around hoomans, but then again…so am I. Then we had wild and wonderful Poppy Labrador who can’t contain her excitement, ever 😂, Poppy Spaniel who again needs some confidence building and reassurance. Happy Elsi and Lola who have enough confidence for everyone. Also Hector, the only Labrador, let alone dog, that screams over losing a stick…..hilarious!!!🤣. The most polite dog, Nutmeg and gobby Betty are here for a few days with us and good girls they are too😁. Our Ivy and Willow are just happy to have so many friends 😁🐾🐾
