Attached is a copy of the work commencing next week on the conwy flyover and tesco roundabout.
Please be aware of possible delays so allow extra time if necessary and avoid late arrival
to appointments arriving over 10mins upto 15 are missed appointments and will have to be rescheduled to avoid delays to later clients .

Client notice

Due to the increased costs of everything, there will be a slight price increase in price starting at the start of the new tax year from April 6th to cover the increased costs of running.

I am sorry to do this (although it isn’t a huge rise £3 per dog) unfortunately its needed.

Unfortunately due to the increasing amounts of no shows and late arrivals I have had to become stricter in my terms and conditions in regards to fees as the cost of running is always increasing and these lost appointments are lost income as they rarely can be filled in short notice .

Please find salon t&c below.
Salon terms.

Arrival: Arrive as promptly as possible to your appointment. Appointments over 10 mins late are considered missed appointments as they then cut into next appointments which is unfair to them.
Missed appointments: will incur a fee of 50% of grooming price.

Collection: Please collect dogs promptly Dogs waiting over 15 mins after notification may incur a fee of £5 per 15mins as later appointment times then need to be delayed .
Cancellations: to cancel text on 07591 142809, a minimum of 24hrs in advance or 50% of the groom cost will be required( 24hr cancellation policy) .
Added fees
:for matted, temperamental, or dogs with fleas. Large / medium dogs must be happy with the grooming process for safety reasons, being 1 to 1 groomer, or it may not be possible to complete grooms if not
If you dog has any known temperament or heath issues you must inform before appointment( if muzzles are known to be required you must provide one ).
If your dog has fleas or is in season, inform beforehand as they may need rescheduling.
(NO further grooms can take place until any owed fees are paid in full.)

I'm sorry for now having to implement these new conditions but with the increasing costs to running loss of income has a large impact.

To all my clients just some forewarning encase you have to use the flyover to get to me and haven't seen this to be aware of possible delays.

Llandudno Junction Flyover: Bridge Refurbishment

Work starts: 17 April 2023
Work finishes: 20 July 2023

The Llandudno Junction flyover from the Weekly News roundabout to Conwy town needs refurbishing, to replace the waterproofing, movement joints and drainage.

This is Phase 2 of this significant project – the first phase was completed in 2022 and Phase 2 will complete the work.

➡️ One lane of the bridge to Conwy will stay open, with 3-way traffic lights on the Weekly News roundabout to manage vehicles.

➡️ Traffic between Weekly News roundabout and Tesco roundabout (Ffordd 6G) will be one-way only. Ffordd 6G will have the same vehicle restrictions as the A*5.

➡️ Drivers heading from Tesco towards Llandudno will need to follow the diversion via the A*5 to Black Cat roundabout (J19).

🚶‍♀️🚴 Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists through the site from Conwy to the steps at the Llandudno Junction end of the site, near Lidl.

Hi all.

I am in the position now to say I am opening from the 20th April. Due to unforseen circumstances I have had to delay my original date of Tuesday 13th by a week.

Hi just an update for everyone,that despite the recent review stating hairdressers can open please be aware that I have now been told by trading standards that this does not apply to me as dog groomers are not in the same category as hairdressers unfortunately, so i am working on the assumption it could be April 12th before restrictions are lifted for me to resume business as usual if anything changes I will update here again so please keep checking the page.
