Unfortunately, the time has come to hang up the leash on Doggy Days.

This has been an amazing experience over the past 5 years and I thank each and every one of you for supporting me and my small business.

I have had the best time working with so many cute dogs and puppers, and feel incredibly blessed to have been able to do so. My heart hurts saying goodbye to it all.

Best wishes to all my clients and their pooches.

our forest walks are the most popular, with lots of sights and scents to explore and plenty of friends to play with 🐶

of course not. as if you could believe hanging around with this lot would make me feel such a way.. I definitely have the cutest clients EVER 😻💙

the weather kept dry for us right up until our last walk, but even that couldn’t dampen all the fun we’ve been having!
everyone has been so excited for their walks this week and really made the most of them!😆
we’ve been adventuring through the forests, strolling about town and having a good run around with frens 💙

they really are the best bunch!🥰

⭐️ AXL ⭐️

this lil Frenchie boy joined the gang a few months ago and has come on leaps and bounds!

Axl is just hitting that age where he’s fuelled with hormones and loves a good carry on! 😆
when he first started walks with Doggy Days, he was strictly on-lead but now he’s able to enjoy his walks off-lead and his recall is amazing!🤩

not only are our walks good for exercising your dog; it teaches them important skills and allows them to safely interact with doggy frens 🥰

when out on group walks, it’s such a joy to watch my poochy pals learn from myself and the rest of the pack, growing into beautiful, well-mannered and happy dogs!💙

I am absolutely loving this boy’s crazy energy and the laughs he brings! He is such a good boy 🥺

𝚒𝚝’𝚜 𝚘𝚔𝚊𝚢 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚘𝚔𝚊𝚢 ❤️‍🩹✨

as we get into the second month of 2022, I have found myself falling behind and not feeling 100%.
I have made a lot of changes this year to better myself- work wise and personally.. but still I have found myself feeling “down”.

and that’s okay.

with mental health and the stigma that surrounds it, it’s very easy to make assumptions.
“What has SHE got to be feeling down about?”
“She looks fine.”
“She’s just being lazy.”
all these thoughts and more raced through my mind as I decided to take time off- worried about what people would think.

it’s so easy to judge someone by their socials.. I mean, I get to hang around with cute dogs all day, how could I possibly not be okay?
“You have the dream job!”

you could have everything in the world, but if you’re mental health is suffering, it’s hard to see this.

yes, I have the dream job. I have lots of cute, doggy friends. an amazing family and great human friends.
I also have anxiety. depression.
I’m stressed, overwhelmed. and fighting these feelings is a workload in itself.

I am lucky that I’m in a position to be able to take a step back from work, to focus and improve on myself, especially my mental health.

I decided I needed time off. and that I deserved it too.
to just switch off and do things, just because I want to- so I took my cat for a forest walk.
something so simple but it helped. it was FUN… it was nuts, yes. but it made me happy.

we are all trying our best to improve ourselves and it’s so easy to put extra pressure on this.
and work ourselves into a wreck, into someone we don’t recognise.

stop.
it’s okay not to be okay.
take a step back and focus on YOU.

even now as I’m writing this, my anxiety is telling me “they’re gonna think you just want sympathy.” “you’re an attention seeker.”
Anxiety; shut up.

we all have our own things going on, our own battles to fight.
I know I’m not the only one.
I hope that somebody reads this and feels a little less alone. or a little more “normal.”
and if you ever need to talk it out, I’m here. or if you need a cute dog picture to cheer you up- I have A LOT of those.

keep fighting.
it’s okay not to be okay. 💙

this gorgeous girl joined us a few months ago and really lives up to her crazy, boxer breed!
Champy has been enjoying off lead play sessions and forest walks since joining the gang and she makes the most of every minute! 🐾

Champy loves nothing more than a good carry on with her new friends and giving slobbery kisses.. even if you don’t want one 🤣
her humans have put so much effort into her training which I love to see and makes her such a delight to take out- such a good girl 🥺❣️

Absolutely loving getting this nutter out so far! Welcome to the gang, Champ 🐶💙
