He visited us recently for his castration and was an absolute star 💙

We usually advise neutering cats from the age of 4 months old.

🐾 Benefits of neutering for Male Cats
• Reduces roaming and helps keep them closer to home
• Lowers the risk of road traffic accidents
• Reduces fighting and aggression
• Lowers the risk of contracting Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
• Prevents testicular cancer
• Lessens the strong smell of their urine

Chester rocking his doggles and enjoying some well deserved liver paste! 😎🐾

During laser therapy sessions, eye protection is required to prevent damage to the eyes from the laser light. Laser therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that helps reduce inflammation, ease pain, and speed up healing — and Chester is making it look stylish!

🐾 Meet Pickle! 🐾

This lovely 4-month-old pup came in for a weight check and nail clip with our Student Veterinary Nurse, Saoirse. 🐶

Pickle was an absolute superstar 🌟 — especially with the help of a liver paste LickiMat, which kept her busy (and very happy!) throughout her appointment. 🐾💖

Regular weight and health checks are an important part of monitoring growth and making sure puppies are developing as expected. We love seeing our young patients grow and making their visits a positive experience! 🐕❤️

Nellie the Border Terrier came in recently to be spayed and was a star patient! Here she is enjoying a well-deserved cuddle with our lovely Veterinary Nurse Laura during her visit.

We are very pleased to report that Nellie is recovering well and will soon be back to her normal routine of fun and adventures! 🌟🐶

Brave little Juno came in for her vaccinations last week and even helped our brilliant receptionist Abi while she waited. She made the cutest little assistant — though we’re not sure how good she is at answering phones just yet… 🐶💙

Sisters Coco and Cookie came in for their spay surgeries last week.

They kept each other company in their cosy kennel, snuggled up side by side. We hope they are making a smooth, speedy recovery at home together. 🐱🐱💖

🐾Meet Tilly!🐾

We had the pleasure of welcoming the gorgeous Tilly for her consultation with vet Julia this week. She’s coming up to her 13th birthday and is doing brilliantly!

Tilly is also an expert at convincing us to hand over the liver paste… who could say no to those eyes?

Beautiful Tula and her handsome son Scooby Doo came in to see our Registered Veterinary Nurse, Laura, for their check-ups. 🩺💙 Both of them were absolute stars!

We loved seeing this waggy-tailed pair. It's such a joy to have them in the practice! 💛🐶🐶

Goose the Golden Retriever pup came in on Saturday for his 2nd vaccination with our Student Veterinary Nurse Saoirse.

He was such a brave boy and made the most of some irresistible liver paste along the way! 🦴✨

Now he’s well on his way to safe walkies and puppy playdates. We can’t wait to see him again soon! 💛

This lovely girl visited our practice for her spay procedure. She was so brave and won the hearts of our team from the moment she arrived.💕
