Found these mini pumpkins 🎃 whilst shopping! Drying out the seeds to grind up, pumpkins cut in half & gave to the dogs, kept them busy & they loved them.

⚠️ FLEAS ⚠️

The common name for the order Siphonaptera, includes 2,500 species of small flightless insects that live as external parasites of mammals and birds. Fleas live by ingesting the blood of their hosts.

They lack wings - their hind legs are extremely well adapted for jumping. Their claws keep them from being dislodged, and their mouthparts are adapted for piercing skin and sucking blood. They can leap 50 times their body length 😳

Some fleas stick with a single host, whilst other types of fleas will jump from host to host including species to species! They can also find themselves moving into your home, furniture & carpets etc…..

There are a few natural remedies to help prevent fleas, such as ⬇️

• Apple Cider Vinegar
• Lavender Oil (incl other essential oils)
• Lemon (Homemade Spray)
• Small amounts of garlic
• Neem Oil (helps prevent fleas & ticks)
• Coconut Oil (lauric acid - fatty acid which kills fleas)
• Rosemary
JUST TO NAME A FEW!

Remedy for your home ⬇️

• Baking Soda & Salt (NOT for pets themselves but for your home) baking soda & salt dehydrate fleas & their eggs.
