I think the angels will be minding their P’s & Q’s as you alight, tonight. Dame of screen and heart, where do I start? Queen of steely wrapped softness, of empathic aloft-ness. And mistress of a myriad words conveyed, in one single eyebrow-arched expression. There can be no succession, only gratitude. Every word feels like platitude. But still, I will attempt. To paint your light, without lament. Your no nonsense voice from heaven sent, to find strength from our sighs. On mighty wings may you fly. With our (reluctant) goodbye.
