Events in your life don’t stop and it’s easy to feel alone or left out because everyone else seems happy when you're not and you don’t want to disturb other people’s celebrations. Sometimes times of the year can make you look back at difficult memories and it’s hard. If you live with mental health problems, there may be other reasons that you find Christmas tough. Change of routines, spending time with more people and perhaps your support network is busy with the festivities. A little update for those who were wondering how Angel and Duke are getting on….

We can´t save every animal but we will help the ones we can…. Lately we had some unexpected new guests. Ron and most of the people who know me already thought I was borderline “Crazy Cat Lady” and I really don’t help dispel the notion any…. 😉 It’s a sad situation (please don’t read on if rescuing stories upsets you)…. These tiny babies were left outside Corby Veterinary surgery in a cardboard box, in the cold in a very poorly state. Unfortunately even with the amazing veterinary care by Corby Vets and quick intervention from the vets and nurses one of their siblings was sadly found dead in the box with them and another could not hold on and passed away shortly after. Over night sadly 2 more beautiful little ones passed away, leaving just two. …… so we decided to help and foster the remaining ones and hopefully give them a chance at a happy, healthy life. Meet Angel and Duke… Just from this picture you can see what a sorry state they were in when they were found. After multiple baths and a lot of kindness from everyone, medication, love and care hopefully we have managed to save two. They are gaining weight, eating and are now on their way to becoming vaccinated, flea’d, wormed,microchipped, healthy, socialised normal kittens who will learn how to play and just be happy with nothing to worry about. We will update you on their process as we go… please keep everything crossed for them.
