We ran a boarding kennels for 31 years, a cattery and farm shop. These have now all closed, due to semi retirement, so now we hire out our fields for people to use for their dogs personal use.

Apologies all. We have a water leak. We have been turning the water on/off all week to try to isolate the problem. We thought we had found it but I think we have more than one!!! So we shall continue turning water on/off today and probably this week. Until it's traced and fixed. The water had also been noted as cloudy, this is she. It is chlorine that was used to flush the pipes . Thank you for your patience.

Can I just re-iterate 2 points.
1. It is impossible to double book a paddock. If someone is in the paddock at the same time, then someone is wrong. Either at wrong paddock/ time/ date. In all the years its been booked using a live system.... we've had 1 error and it turns out 2 people were booking the exact slot at exactly the same time. But only 1 actually got charged. But that's 1 in many years. So if that happens.... call/message me. So I can sort what's happened at that time... 07818 090942

2. Lots of complaints this week about dog pooh. Especially paddock 2 you shouldn't need reminding, however it is your responsibility to walk with your dog... regardless of the weather... and collect their mess. And report any damage!!!

Please be reminded that you MUST WALK with your dog/dogs so you can see where they poo. I know they run ahead and you may miss the odd one. But it is NOT ACCEPTABLE to sit in your car for an hour and only get out to let your dogs in/out the car and tell me they poo at home and only use the paddock for exercise. That they never poo. You can not know if you're in your car at the top of the hill. CCTV does know. Thank you.

We are receiving a lot of complaints about dog poo not being collected. This is just pure laziness. The paddocks should be a pleasurable experience for everyone, but it's not if their dogs are running through mess.
It's your dog, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY... JUST PICK IT UP.

XL BULLIES IN THE PADDOCKS

We are receiving many messages regarding the new law with xl bully dogs. We have checked with the kennel licencing officer (even though the paddocks do not need to be licences) and we have double checked with our insurance company. As far as we are all aware, the paddocks are on private land. The paddocks are a secure area. You drive into the paddocks and close the gate. You book it for your own individual use. You are making the booking, you take responsibility for your own paddock and your dog. Who you share it with is up to you. As long as you take complete responsibility for your dog, then your are still able to book the paddock and not use a muzzle or have to keep your dog on a lead. I hope this reassures you.

Blue coat
There was a blue coat left in paddock 3. We know it was there. Owner came back to collect yesterday but it had been taken. If you accidentally took it, please could you return it. I don't really want to sit through hours of cctv.

Dog poo.
I have had 2 complaints today about dog mess. One person said they picked up 10 poohs!!!!! Thanks to them for collecting but UNACCEPTABLE. This is so frustrating. I need to know ASAP if you find a fresh poo and where. I can then check cctv. If you don't report it but the person after you does.... guess who is under suspicion? So please tell me where it is approximately and what time and what paddock. I have caught a couple of people. But there are more offenders. Its such a shame that the minority spoil it for others.
Children use these paddocks and it's not fair that people have to watch where they walk instead of being able to watch their dogs. Please do the honorable thing. If you can't... maybe you shouldn't own a dog.

If we were to install a 7Kw electric charging point for vehicles, just as an extra service for customers who are using the paddocks, is this something that would interest anyone? We would not generate profit from this and would have an initial outlay cost, so would like to know it would be used before paying out.

I think Matt hancock made it clear that you CAN drive a short distance to walk your dog if you can ensure you are alone. The paddocks will therefore re-open. There is alcohol gel and gloves on the gate if you do not have your own. Please leave the gate open when you leave. Please make your bookings and pay online. Thank you for your patience.
