I never put birthdays on here, but as he’s the first dog that was walked by me when I started the business more than 8 years ago, I thought it only right to wish him a happy 13th birthday, now he’s officially a teenager (in human years). This photo was taken by me last month.

🛑 A Hutch is Not Enough 🛑

Rabbits need more than a small hutch to thrive. Confining them to tight spaces is cruel and harmful. Here’s why:

🐇Solitary Confinement: Rabbits need space to run, jump, stretch, dig, and forage, as well as a bonded mate for companionship.

🐇 Weather Exposure: Small hutches offer little protection from the elements, leaving rabbits vulnerable.

🐇Room to Rear Up: Rabbits must be able to stand on their hind legs without touching the roof to avoid spinal issues.
Minimum Enclosure Size:
At least 3m x 2m x 1m high —bigger is always better!

Good afternoon,
Could all next weeks walks be booked in no later than 5pm today please. Please take into consideration this weeks hot weather forecast, as this will mean that I’ll be walking early, but if you’re at work all day, will also include a mid day pop in /garden visit at no extra charge.

One of the hardest days of my life today, I’ve spent most of the morning in tears as Penny goes off to begin a new chapter in her life, where she will live in America 🇺🇸. Thank you to her family Chelsea Calvello for trusting me with your baby girl since she was just 4 months old. I love her so much.

***Awareness Post***

We've had two requests to search for dogs recently. Sadly they've drowned and at this time of year they have resurfaced before we could get there, leaving their owners with a traumatic task of recovering them.

There are a number of breeds that CANT SWIM or are POOR SWIMMERS. They can sink very quickly and with best efforts to save them it is often not possible.

You rarely get a second chance with water.

Your dog may never have shown an interest in water, or may just paddle. But dogs are instinct reactive and it only takes one accident.

Please don't take the risk. Please keep breeds that are known to be poor swimmers on a lead near water. At least then you have a chance of saving them.

Some of the breeds most known that can't swim/poor swimmers and most at risk are...

• French Bulldogs
• English Bulldogs
• Pocket Bully's
• Pugs
• Dachshunds
• Boxers
• Shih Tzu's
• Basset Hounds
• Corgi's
• Maltese

🐍 ADDER BITES: Here’s what to do! 🐍

💚 Keep your dog close to you or on a lead around areas known for Adder populations – this will stop them from bothering the snakes and lessen the likelihood of the snakes striking.
💚 If an Adder has bitten your pet, call your vet immediately, and if possible, carry your pet to stop the venom from spreading.
💚 Even if you have been on a walk and haven't seen your pet get bitten but are acting out of character or notice any swellings, call your vet to be safe.

As we go through these warmer months, we will likely see more Adders basking in the sun, where they are likely to be bothered by your pets! 🐍
