Would you believe me if I told you this dog was 10 years old? πΎ
When I see this dog I see a strong back and legs, an engaged core and a head held high.
I see a comfortable dog π
Prehab is always better than rehab. Lifestyle adjustments and physiotherapy can help to keep your animal strong and comfortable as they move into their golden years.
βAdditional Physiotherapy Clinic Locationβ
I will now be offering physiotherapy consultations and treatment at Gem & Evieβs hydrotherapy centre in Warlingham, Surrey π
I am excited to be able to offer additional services to this wonderful centre.
This service will be open to new and existing patients of the centre π
πPlease get in touch if you live in the surrounding area and would like to find out more.
ποΈ This new location is in addition to my existing location of the fantastic Molesey Vets (East Molesey) as well as home visits in the Surrey area.
Physiotherapy is NOT just for dogs and horses.
Cats can willingly engage and benefit from Physiotherapy. Alongside the therapeutic exercise seen here, they also respond well to various pain-relieving treatments such as laser therapy, PEMF, massage, and cryotherapy.
Why might a cat need physiotherapy? π Some of the reasons include Arthritis, post-surgery, pre-surgery, and neurological conditions.
Please get in touch if you would like to know more or if you have a feline friend who may benefit from Physiotherapy.

Comfort is key
Do you ever get tight, sore muscles? If yes, you know how uncomfortable and limiting it can be.
Dogs (and all animals!) can get exactly the same and it is just as uncomfortable. π
In the below video (top) you can see an example of muscle twitching along an older dog's back. After a combination of massage, stretching and laser therapy you can see in the bottom video the twitching has been relieved. Hopefully, you can also notice how much softer the muscles look as well.
Why is this important? Apart from reducing pain, good musculoskeletal health is essential to keep your pet moving well, ensuring they can express natural behaviours and most important be happy.
