Saying goodbye is never easy, and Friday will be especially hard for us here at Anwells. Helen-our wonderful nurse who has been with us for 20+ years-will be retiring from nursing and moving away to be nearer family and friends.
We know many of you will want to wish Helen well so if anyone wants to pop in to say goodbye or drop us an email we will ensure it is passed on to Helen.

We have had a very young (approx 10 week old) kitten handed in to us at Coulsdon. He was found in Cane Hill in Coulsdon.

Today was a happy day here at Anwells and also a sad day.
Our amazing nurse Charlotte found out that she had passed her final training exams and is now a fully qualified veterinary nurse. We are so proud of Charlotte and all of the amazing hard work she has put in to her training. Her qualification is richly deserved.
Sadly, our wonderful member of staff Liz has decided on a career change after 16 years with us here during which time she has been an integral part of our nursing team and later joining our reception team, leaving to have her 3 incredible children but re-joining the team after each maternity break.
We are all going to miss Liz beyond measure. Her knowledge and dedication to the practice have been appreciated more than words can say and we wish Liz every success in her future ventures ❤️❤️
Phew, what an emotional day x

The position will be based at both our Freer Farm & Coulsdon practice.

Mon: 8.30-11.00am & 3.30-6.00pm
Tues: 9.00am-2.00pm
Fri: 10.00am-7.00pm
1 Saturday morning in 5

Applicants must have the following skills:
🐶experience dealing with customers face to face and on the telephone.
🐶Genuine love of animals and willingness to help clients.
🐶Good computer skills.
🐶Full driving licence and own transport.

What a really lovely day at The Old Coulsdon Village Fair. It was so great to see so many familiar faces and to meet lots of new people too.
Thank you to everyone that supported the raffle and helped raise lots of money for The New Moon Rescue. We will announce the winners on Monday.
Well done to all of the winners in the dog show, lots of proud owners with their dogs today displaying fantastic rosettes provided by the fab gang at Freer Farm.
Finally a massive well done to everyone who organised such a great event. It is lovely to be a part of such a special community.

****Reunited with owner 😊****
Found on the Cane Hill site in Coulsdon this afternoon, this beautiful dog is missing its owner. Sadly no microchip. Please get in touch if you are the owner or you know who the owner might be. We are open this evening until 7pm and then from 8am-1pm tomorrow.

We currently have an XL Bulldog, found today on Downs Road, with us at Coulsdon. He is safe and well but sadly his microchip details are not up to date.

🐾🐾 Just to let you know that our branch surgery will now re-open on Thursday morning as normal. Thanks for everyone’s patience and understanding 🐾🐾

Due to the recent fuel spillage on the A22 and the current closure of both north and southbound roads we have had to take the decision to close our branch practice at Freer Farm until further notice due to the access issues these roadworks have obviously caused.
The work is due for completion by/on Thursday 16th May, so if this remains on track we will re-open at the end of this week but will keep you updated via Facebook and Instagram and obviously all clients that already have appointments scheduled will be notified directly by phone.
Thank you for your understanding and obviously we are sorry for any inconvenieve that this causes.

What to do when your patient doesn’t want to be in a kennel by herself?? Our nurse Charlotte had the answer today-she put little Daisy in a sling and was able to carry on working and providing comfort and companionship at the same time ❤️❤️❤️❤️
