A boutique luxury cat hotel in the heart of Countesthorpe, set In a very quiet location with no passing traffic. An idyllic beautiful garden setting with a pond and waterfalls. An abundance of wildlife such as regular wild birds visiting and the usual garden birds feeding on the trellis in front of the hotel, hedgehogs and 2 families of squirrels. Your precious pets will be going on their own vacation when checking in to The Haven.

Hello, beautiful Isle of Skye… fairy pools/ fairy Glenn/ old man of storr and fish and chips for lunch in Portree and the best pub with Cullen skink my absolute favourite!! We stayed here for two nights but I would love to return for a week! The Isle of Skye has a lovely feel about it.. now we are on the Dragon tooth estate in our Riverside wee pod. … 🥰

The Falconry at Dunrobin Castle was amazing. I was in awe. 😯 Had to take a picture of the beautiful carvings in the fireplace of the dog and cat .. (I am not a dog on a chain. 🎶)
The Walligoe steps made my legs turn to jelly. … and rob laughs at me as I start flapping.

We took our friends bear called BothyBear. As we had to take him up to the summit of Ben Nevis to get a picture for his travel experiences… he wanted to come into the whiskey distillery though.. 🙄

When we close, we sometimes have a holiday, we go out together and do things that we can’t normally do.. We also have a rest and a relax at home… I like to bake and cook new recipes and I do some batch cooking.. this is my favourite season for weather.. colours and cosy nights in with the fire on… Doing things like early morning yoga and sound baths welcoming the autumn equinox.. Keeping fit by being able to go on an early morning run or bikeride instead of pushing myself in the afternoons when I have a spare hour or so.. Running a cattery isn’t a job it never feels like work at all, it’s a lifestyle.. 😻🐾
This September, we have enjoyed another road trip, this time in the UK . We have enjoyed 14 nights really exploring Scotland.. the NC500 and more…
We had a little stop halfway in Bamburgh as I had always wanted to go to see Uhtred..😏 (the last kingdom) then onto another of my favourite series (outlander) we stayed in culloden just 5 minutes from the battlefield. We stayed in various places along the way. Tain/Wick/Tongue/Lochinver/Ullapool/Applecross/isle of Skye/ Glencoe… where we stayed in a riverbed wee pod with a hot tub which was much needed as we climbed Ben Nevis. My legs are still recovering!
The beaches,waterfalls and walks were amazing and the weather was kind to us except for a few days … The seafood and a famous cheese toastie.. one of my highlights was stepping away down a river near a different waterfall away from any tourists and sitting there watching the salmon leaping out of the water upstream and actually up the waterfalls.. the nature and scenery were all stunning. The whole experience was brilliant. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 we will return.
