Another fabulous weekend of dressage thanks to Ekko Equestrian - Rebecca & Keri Bates . I met some lovely people and horses over the weekend... a small chill before getting ready for work tomorrow.

Quick question..
In terms of affiliation to therapy memberships eg. IAAMB, does this effect who you choose? I know my overall qualification (fully accredited, level 4 diploma in equine sports and rehabilitation massage) is very important and the insurance that I carry surrounding it, but has anyone choose me for my registration with IAAMB? Or has that factored into your decision to choose me?
As far as I am aware, I have never had a referral off the back of there website of registered therapists.

Why is this relevant, I hear you say.....
Recently I have had a new client from a Facebook post, that I got some tags in (thank you to those clients). When asked why she choose me, over the other tags she mentioned that I sounded the most authentic. This resonated with me as I strive to be as transparent as possible with you. I will not promise an outcome I can not 100% follow through with. This time it was a possible lymphatic problem (vets had been consulted and diet looked at). I do not pretend to be a vet or an expert on anything but what I know, loaded with knowledge and hope that I could at least help, I got to work. Talking through the process as I went and potentially finding a gelding scar that could of been a route to the problem. Only time will tell if this gives him some relief from the swelling but that scar tissue will make an immediate difference.

A bit of a change today. Helped navigate this very brave young man around his first dressage competition. He is sadly for sale, but I am having the best time with him.!
