Just seen as an unsightly blemish by most but to the horse and potentially ourselves a huge decrease in movement to the effected area. Impinging tissue holding onto structures that are trying to move... potential sharp pain when trying to use it, in a way that it doesn't want to. The best way to try and make it more flexible... stretch and move, massage and flood with blood and even potentially use a red light type machine that works by having the mitochondria in cells absorb the light, which boosts energy production (ATP) for cellular repair and function. The increased cell energy can lead to increased collagen production, blood flow, and cell regeneration, helping with issues like fine lines, scars, and muscle repair. It might feel like just holding a light over the tissue but it's working magic beneath the surface.

I think we all feel a bit low when the dark nights draw in and the weather changes. I wish nothing more than People to find their "calm" in the storm. I can't stress enough what these majestic creatures do for me in terms of peace and calm, even on the most chaotic days a few hours in their presence makes it all seem a bit more manageable and tonight was no exception.. 100 to 0 in just over an hour! My job with them leaves me smiling from ear to ear on every visit.
