Hello, Its NLEQUINETHERAPY
I hope you had a lovely Christmas. I have to take this opportunity to inform you of a new year's price change.
Firstly, thank you for your continued support. It has been a pleasure working with you, but I am incurring price increases behind the scenes in order to keep myself insured and registered, and these new prices will be hard to balance against my current prices so with that said I have had to make a big decision to increase those prices this year to bring me level with other similar practitioners prices in the area.
I have had to change my prices from £30 a session to £40 and a £45 initial assessment fee. I will be bringing this price change in for March 2025. Any bookings before that will remain at the original price, and to add a little offer into the new year, I am doing a combination of a treatment and a saddlecloth at the cost of £50 up until the March price swap.
I hope you understand that in order to deliver the professional care and knowledge that I do, I will have to increase the price to match. I hope to have your continued support through next year and hope to hear from you soon.

Merry Christmas everyone. I know it's early but I have a busy day of travelling to do tomorrow. Thank you all for your support this year. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a good new year.

Let's have a little game...
What kind of patient is your horse?
I have lots of different types of horses that come into my care and I can almost categorise every single one into the below..
Positioner:
This horse will wiggle, banana, and contort itself into some strange positions to benefit the most from what is happening.
Dead weight:
This horse will be still until I hit "a spot" then it will push all its weight into the treatment and almost fall on top of me to get maximum pressure.
Cautious:
Likes to hold back all feelings of like or dislike to the treatment, until they realise it actually feels good.
Disengaged:
I'm not here and you will do nothing to please me! (These are slow burners, I always win in the end)
Angry:
I don't know who you are and could you please stop touching me! ( I usually compromise with effluage and deep compression moves until they like me more).
Sleepy:
Loves it so much, they just relax into a sleepy state and yawn their head off.

It would be funny to here if you can relate to any of these, or maybe you think your horse has a separate category I have missed??

Does your horse have scar tissue?
This could be contributing to ROM (range of movement) issues and as such a shortening of stride.
How can I help?
Myofascial release..
Help to stretch the fibres out and begin to regain some elasticity.
With a fresh scar: LLLT (low level light therapy)
For additional muscle repair: LLLT can help with muscle fatigue and injury by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress, and stimulating stem cells.
The scars run deep! And so does the damage.

What a difference a day makes..
A day out with the horses, is definitely good for my soul. I had some huge responses today that put a big smile on my face, and I can confidently say it might be one of the few jobs that you can get farted on over 15 times in a day and finish with a smile 😃

A little vulnerability from me tonight.
This week, I have felt "off", a bit lost (if I can start to try and label it). It's nearly Omeyas death anniversary and maybe subconsciously that is starting to build up? But I have felt on the verge of tears for most of the week and have been letting it get in the way of parts of my life.. well tonight (watching the movie "if") it broke me. Normally I would of had Omeya to release these feelings on, as I called him my personal therapist, but sadly I now try and keep them to myself (My own personal choice).
I don't think we realise how important our horses are to our mental health until they are gone, so give them an extra special hug and a kiss this weekend. Poor Omeya would have to listen to my problems on a regular basis and i would always come home feeling better. I would love to hear some special moments that have been shared between you and your horse(s). I would have let it all out on Flash but he doesn't care!
