🌟GREAT OPPORTUNITY🐴 for a kind and experienced rider to enjoy a super smart school master who still has plenty about him!

Stan is 15yo this year, home bred and is in a good routine on our semi private yard. He has competed with many wins BD Elementary, Novice eventing and Discovery SJ in the past but has had a quiet last few years just hacking and schooling mainly at home and the odd clinic whilst i've been off with knee injury and having a baby!

Stan will suit a competent local amateur who maybe can't afford to buy a horse but can take on his costs and take him out to clinics/shows. He will be competitive at RC/Grassroots level Dressage (P-Elem)/SJ/AE disciplines and could compete BE80/90 when fit on good ground with the right rider. He would equally be happy being hacked and schooled, and just going on fun rides with an experienced but non competitive rider.

Sadly time has meant that Stan (Lynwood Constitution) hasn't always been a priority and I it would be a shame for a fit, healthy and talented horse to be wasted any longer!
He has pretty much stayed in work, has jumped when time allows but is not super jump fit yet.
Stan is to stay at our Lynwood Stud Dunchurch yard in his current routine as he is settled and its his home. We have excellent facilities (arena with mirors/xc field/off road hacking etc)

Tentatively looking.... 🧐 for a sharer for Erik (Lynwood Executive) He is 17.2hh and 24years young at the end of Aug and still enjoys hacking around the farm and a day doing some pole work in the school.
Would suit a local person with some experience wanting to be part of our yard and have a horse to enjoy doing and ride a little but not compete or school regularly.
He is an absolute gentleman to be around and do. Easy in every way and very sensible! Erik is home bred, and was my young riders dressage horse. To stay at yard in Dunchurch and in his current routine. Looking for £100 contribution PCM & cover costs of his shoes. Sharer to muck out 5 days a week.

🐴🐴 Client Evening - Monday 20th March 🐴🐴

Don't forget to book onto our next FREE Client Evening, taking place at Ratley Village Hall, Chapel Lane, Ratley OX16 6DS – very close to our practice, starting at 7.00pm.

At this event we will be discussing ‘Sound without Surgery’, non-surgical intervention for the lame horse – including shockwave, acupuncture, physio and joint medications. Our speakers will be vets Claire Maher and Carys Morgan together with Nursing Assistant and Equine Physiotherapist Hannah Daniels.

Vet Carys, who’s part of the English Vaulting Squad and has represented GB, will also be giving a talk and show some videos of her vaulting skills.

We will be providing refreshments, a buffet and holding a free raffle with the chance of winning some great Avonvale prizes. The evening is kindly sponsored by Dechra.

Looking for a full time 5 days a week GROOM to work at Lynwood Stud at the Dunchurch yard (CV23 8AD)- starting 1st APRIL in position. However would be ideal if they could work along side our current groom for the last week (or 3/4 full days) in March to learn the ropes. Hours typically 7.30am-5pm (some flexibility if local to have longer lunch to go home/go & do own horse)
Yard of 12/13 well mannered horses. (some are DIY liveries)
All usual routine yard jobs, riding not required but ability to lunge/hack out a bonus.
Must have previous experience on a yard and be able to organise themselves and manage time throughout the day.
Must have own transport and be reliable.

Elegant and classy event type with balanced and uphill paces and an athletic, scopey jump. Bold and sensible attitude to his training and life in general. Un-phased by water, ditches, steps, fillers etc. Has been produced slowly with his future in mind. Low mileage with bags of untapped potential. Ollie is a gentleman on the yard, to handle and take out on the lorry- will stand on his own and wait his turn like a mouse.
Nicely bred- Out of Uralande JJ (Show jumping mare by Olympic dressage stallion Metall, who also sired Carl Hester’s Uthopia. Dam consistent 1.30 SJ mare) By Lynwood Constitution (Crown Gold eventing lines)
Has competed dressage with scores 70%+, SJ 80/90cm and been XC training several times. Good to hack, no vices, never sick or sorry. Full vet history available from birth.
Everyone says this… but we truly are gutted to be selling him and have stalled for over 6 months. But an ongoing rider injury that’s not improving and now pregnancy makes this the right decision. Currently based with Bert Bolton and Jodie Stokes at the Spires in Tamworth. Competed by both.
Will only be sold to a really experienced and knowledgeable rider with a good set up/ support team to continue his education and utilise his potential. POA

Rising 6yo Lynwood Unlimited 🐴 and Joanne Hayward were on form today at Moreton Morrell in their very closely marked big dressage class - 74.23% 😎 Top 5 finish.
She is half sister to rising 5yo Lynwood Unleashed (post above) Both young horses are a credit to the Stud and just a pleasure to take out to parties!

As 2021 draws to a close and Christmas is round the corner, I wanted to say a truly heartfelt thank you to everyone has supported both myself and Lynwood Stud throughout the toughest of tough years. I'm lucky to have very kind and helpful people around me that make up a team I would be lost without. I can only hope and pray for some solid improvements with my knee so that I can get some form of normality back in my life and repay some of the support I'm given daily.
Thank you to all of the equestrian team that keep the horses in top condition both daily at home with the great care and management they receive and with regular appointments from the physio, farrier, vet etc etc etc The list goes on... thank you.
Merry Christmas everyone- you all enjoy a lovely day!
