We have been owned by Devon Rex since 1991 and have enjoyed their wonderful companionship ever since. They are a wonderfully funny, quirky, active and fun loving breed with beautiful curly coats. All the girls we have here have been born at Maystar and most are Champion or Grand Champion winners. Viktori had a bath. She was a little bit grubby and smelled like a nest of baby mice. Her URTICARIA PIGMENTOSA makes her a little sweaty and that leads to the smell.

A nice little bath with gentle skin wash and she smells sweeter already. Albeit, a bit damp.

MAGGIE UPDATE-SUPREME
I met up with Maggie's family and Tilly Tickle's family on Friday night to prepare Maggie's coat for the big Supreme Cat Show UK on Caturday.

This photo was sent yesterday to show just how very relaxed she was with her best friend, Xanthus, who shared his pen with her.

She had a lovely day and gained her first adult certificate and is on her way to being a Master Cat.

HAPPY 1ST PURRDAY to the GAZOOLINGS 2024. What an amazing litter this was, we shall never forget the antics they get up to and the drama they caused by catching a random bug at Xmas? Still have no idea where it came from? They all went to their new families super late, but already having babies from us, everyone was was happy to wait.

Gazoo was the best mum, the families are 5☆ and I am always so grateful for the love you shower on them. Xiomara stayed here, just for our entertainment really, she is hillarious.

HAPPY 4th PURRDAY to the magnificent favourite ginger, Mr Elton. He had a meer three stunning, crazy mad litters, one at Minoan and two here last year. He spent 18mths enjoying the Covid 19 break and reluctantly went back to work, only to stress and upset himself so much, he fell sick and ended up at Broad Lane on a drip.

He now lives with my besty, Liza, and the two of them have thrived together. He has really come out of his shell and Liza can't stop buying him new toys which he loves of course.

Gazoo is very special.... finally, I have my phone on and capture the 4 silly things she performs for me every morning post her breakfast. I made a concerted effort to hide the fact I was recording as usually, she won't perform.

It starts with litter mat scratch with smacky bum, this leads her to beat up crocs and do a bit of bum wiggling and a Gazoo meow, then the run up the plank and then,the grand finalè, kick the plank... she is a laugh a minute and this ritual lasts for the time I eat my breakfast and watch her daily performance.

Our Story

Maystar Devon Rex is a British cattery based in Coventry, West Midlands. We have ten cats living with us in our home. Faith, Lillibet, Flaire, Viktori, Pearl, Tyga, Robyn, SaBreena, Ikon and his son Magnus Rex. We pride ourselves on healthy, happy cats and kittens and are part of the GCCF Accredited Breeders Scheme as well as TICA registered. With a Diploma in Feline Behaviour and Pshychology we have the tools to keep our Pride happy. We run a waiting list for kittens and are happy to talk about our cats and are dedicated to getting our kittens to the right homes.
