Happy 3th Purrday to the Breelings 2021 litter. Cookie & Sol have a wonderful life with their Cat Dads and Wilkie & Raphael live just up the road with their cat Mum. All four babies are very spoilt.

Lady S from Minoan Devon Rex , who kissed Eros (Marshmallow to her) since he was born turned up for snuggles and kisses and got Clifford used to being kissed by a mini person. She is a true Kitten Whisperer.

Four cats, 50g of Feringa Rabbit & Parsnip shared between (top left) Mae, Eros, Flaire & Gazoo. Flaire is usually VERY growly at everyone and Mae is a bit grumpy with Eros. It's usually mayhem if anyone even looks at Flaire... but put down a PLAYDATE LICKIMAT and all four happily share a treat.

HOW WE USE THIS MAT
I put it down when the four of them go to bed in the kitchen. It is sometimes hard to get everyone to their allocated rooms without a fuss and has been a game changer at helping to herd cats.

HOW EASY IS IT TO CLEAN
It's left over night and in the morning I give it a wriggle over the bin to dislodge tiny crumbs and chuck it in the dishwasher. If you wash by hand, I soaked it for 5mins with teeny bit of HairyLipSquid and gave it another wriggle. Job done.

CLIFFORD LUNCH HOUR.
Feringa Kitten chicken & veal with carrots, extra vitamins some juice from soaked Mum & Baby kibbles made by Concept For Life. He has around 40g of meat & 10 soaked kibbles and down the hatch it all goes....nom nom nom.

Now off to play with Eros & Gazoo for an hour.

MAE UPDATE
Well, Mae didn't get quite the results we were hoping for with her blood tests, however, there was a tiny reduction in results. Was that down to the milk thistle? Who knows... ?

She has some higher protein specific diet arriving from as well as Denamarin from which has milk thistle & Turmeric in veterinary grade.

We can do this... the liver enzymes are at a rate where, I am assured from my amazing team, has every reason to return to normal. Aim to retest 6 to 8wks.

In herself she is fine; maybe less 'Mae' and a teeny bit lack luster. She eats & drinks well. Her p**p is 'slightly' off and the biggest thing is she is angry with the other cats. Not many indicators but enough for us to run the bloods before originally mating her. So glad we did.

THE CAUSE:
Although there are no direct papers relating to Suprelorin and raised liver enzymes, there are papers on this relating to Megastrol Acetate and the short term effects on the liver. Both have been used in Mae's case with the latter being more recent. Could this be the possible cause? Who knows. She will have to call naturally, which is stressful in it's self and go from there.

Time will tell... send her liver a little prayer please.

Oh, I am out, this is where I have my breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. I climb up here and wait patiently for my bowl of milky meat...nom nom nom.

You must keep your ears well back in airplane mode so as not to get food on them, then you must lick all the goodness from your face to stay clean.

I am a super little fella and so very smart for my mere 7wks of age. I should be part of Mensa.

Mae has been back to the vet for her final blood test for her liver. We are all hoping it is a combination of the cat pill and the metacam she had to have last month that set this all off and things may be magically back to normal? She has been on a month long course of Milk Thistle too. We will find out very soon from Vet Jess what lies ahead next week.

Mae was exceptionally well behaved and Kylie did a great job of holding her fighty feet. She is a very strong little cat and super wiggly. Vet Jess had to go in twice because the first vein dried up. No matter, the second vein was deep but gave a whole tube of the red stuff.

I also took Mambo for his vaccines and was surprised just how long we have had him. He is a hefty 3.6k and very excitable. He had both of his pompoms checked and signed off as well as a clean bill of health visually. He sure is a busy boy.
