We have a large selection of water lily. There are currently 4 colours - white, yellow pink and red. Some are starting to flower. These flowers close up at night and then open again during the day. The picture is early this morning where the flower is just starting to open.

Water lettuce grows quickly and by doing so helps to keep nutrients levels in the water low, helping to prevent against algae. Also these floating plants will add shade and cover for your fish.

Struggling with pond algae?
Green water/algae is often caused by over feeding and fish waste. It is unsightly and can be dangerous as it may alter the pH and oxygen levels. It can also harm your plants by outcompeting the plants for nutrients. At Maidenhead Aquatics we have an excellent range of algae treatments; some work by actively killing the algae and others work by stripping out nutrients. Decreasing your waters phosphate and nitrate levels will also help with unwanted algae growth. Available in-store and online.
