Today wasn’t all about dogs!
Well mostly…BUT I rescued a little hedgehog I found wandering on a busy road. Did you know hedgehogs shouldn’t be seen out and active in the daytime? It means they are most likely poorly. Now this little hedgehog is safe in the hands of and once nursed back to health he can be released back into the wild. They are a local rescue run by volunteers and do wonderful work for these vulnerable and super cute little creatures 💓🦔
Also in the mix are some of the doggy’s action shots today 📸 and Minnie and Fred the donkeys enjoying some fruit & veg, cos who doesn’t love a donkey?!? 🫏

The light in the forest today was extra 🤩
I was told by a friend that rays of sun coming through leaves and trees is good for ‘forest bathing’ and the Japanese word to describe it is ‘Komorebi’. The interplay of sunlight and shadows increase serotonin, improve moods and lower blood pressure. Well all the dogs seemed happy enough! lucky us! 😄🤗🍃🍂☀️

I am lucky that every day is a ‘dog day for me’ i’m blessed to have so many amazing dogs in my life and count my lucky stars everyday that I spend with them!
Special love for my sidekick for life who’s loyalty and love knows no bounds. He comes to work with me everyday and never complains 🙃 as long as we are together we’re both happy 💓

I’m feeling super lucky to have seen one on my walk this morning! Being outdoors everyday I see many unusual plants and animals. This year i’ve been lucky enough to see Curlews, kingfishers, butterfly orchids and a hare amongst other things but….I have ALWAYS wanted to see an octopus (I have a bucket list) and today I finally did! He was very small but incredible to watch and change colour while he moved.
He was in a small rock pool and we left him there as the tide was coming in 🐙
Other things on my bucket list not yet encountered include

Bee orchid
