Eddie 🧡🤍🧡 the perfect dog for the Welsh outdoors…he’s always first in the water snuffling bubbles with his snoot, he can walk over any terrain and as I recently discovered Welsh Spaniels have a ‘weatherproof, waterproof and even thorn resistant coat’ no wonder he likes to take his own path on our adventures…i think he’s the only one who can walk over the spikey shrubs on the sand dunes! Besides all of his weather resistant qualitys he is an absolute SWEETHEART who loves playing with all of his friends and always greets me with the waggiest tail, very partial to a tummy rub and lets me plant a kiss on his nose when I collect him 🙊💘

As they say the early bird catches the worm 🪱and it felt so good to have the sun on our faces this morning! 🌞 you just can’t beat a frosty sunny walk on the dunes 🐾 i’m still chanelling Mrs Claus vibes in my winter wear but hey the dogs don’t judge 😂❤️

We’re back to it after a Christmas break! Hopefully that’s the back of the rain for a while. I was contemplating picking the dogs up in an ark! Yes to more blue skies coming our way ☀️🤞🏼either way it’s been great catching up with the pups this last few days, my greetings at the door have been priceless! Honestly it’s such a joy to see them so excited, it’s the best feeling in the world ❤️

We will be holding an open day at the home on Saturday 2nd Dec from 11-4pm.

If you’re interested in adopting one of our residents then please pop down. It may be a good time to meet our forgotten seven?

You won’t be able to walk around the kennels, because it causes them a lot of stress, so the dogs will be brought out to see you. In addition to this please can we also ask you don’t bring your furbabies with you (sorry) 🫶

URGENT APPEAL FOR OWNER -STRAY DOG FOUND LLANTRISANT

We are urgently trying to locate the owner of this young female collie who arrived with us this week after being found as a stray in the Llantrisant area. She has received urgent medical care to keep her comfortable but ultimately requires surgery.

As we do not know her previous history it makes her surgery more risky so we are appealing for her owner to come forward or if anybody knows any information as to how she found herself as a stray to let us know.

If her owner see’s this and doesn’t want to reclaim her, could you please contact us to give us her history and she can be signed over into our care to get the treatment she needs.
