Wanted to share this experience of working with Mac & Mabel (fox terriers) who have been coming to the studio for 2 years.

At first they were very shy and scared of some of the equipment, especially Mac who wasn’t keen on the dryer. Mabel would often sit in the corner shying away from me.

Roll on today where they are confident and happy dogs in the studio 👏♥️.

By working with them at their own pace, being kind & caring and gaining their trust and slowly introducing the dryer at low speeds & building up to a level they can tolerate, they are now both very happy to be groomed.

And Mabel now loves to have a little snooze on the chair instead of hiding near a corner of the studio.

It’s positive experiences like this that make dog grooming even more enjoyable & rewarding
