🥂 Congratulations 🥂 to our fabulous apprentice, Savanah Berry and hers & N. Berry’s Macurah who secured their qualifying spot for the Blue Chip Winter Championships last week at Hartpury. 🥂

🥳 This is an extra special achievement for Savanah due to it being i) the biggest class Sav has ever jumped, ii) Sav’s only second affiliated show and third show in total with Mac, iii) the first qualifier she’s ever jumped, and iv) the first time she’s gone to a show unaccompanied🤩

🤩 We are all super proud of you Savanah and can’t wait to support you when we make the journey to the Championships 🎉🤩

🚙 Also a huge thanks to our fellow LME members who assist in making it possible for us all to split up and be at multiple shows in the same day😆🙏🚙

‘Bobbin has given Sophie so much confidence. He’s a cheeky chappy and has taught Sophie to be assertive while also learning what makes him happy (ear scratches and snacks). They’ve had lots of fun together and she competed in her first ever showjumping competition with him. He is an awesome pony and they are forming a lovely bond.’ From Sophie’s Mum.

Our friend, Dai Turbo 💛
A friendly, familiar, funny person with whom 2 minutes was enough to always leave you with a smile and brighten your day… Most of you will have seen or spoken to Dai and his brother, Dixie, over the years here at LME - always around and never further than a phone call away for anything we ever want and need…
With deep sadness we let you know that last Saturday, 11th January, towards the end of the day Dai was out the back, preparing the hay bales to go into the barns as he has done every week since Sarah first came to Liege Manor in 1988 when he tragically suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away on his beloved Massey Ferguson tractor that his father had bought brand new the year Dai was born🚜💛
Dai always had a positive spin on everything and will be very much missed by us and all of our team. His character, his jokes, his humility and just Dai will be fondly remembered for many years to come… Rest easy Dai❤️

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere condolences to Dai’s family, sending extra love to Dixie and their mum, Margaret but also a very very big THANK YOU to our wonderful team who did everything possible for Dai in the last moments of his life. It is in such moments you realise what wonderful people you have around you. The love and support we all felt throughout and following the incident will not be forgotten and is very much appreciated❤️.

So, as you’re wrapping up your evening with a tea, coffee, beer, champagne or whatever it may be, please toast to Dai and the life he had, the memories that follow him and all he brought with him to this world. 🌍 🥂

✨A reminder this life is short - live it to the fullest, love to your heart’s content and laugh at every opportunity just as Dai would do and want us to continue too!✨

‼️IMPORTANT INFORMATION‼️
Our situation has slightly changed in that we have no power and are not due to be restored before 10:00pm tonight.
As such we need to get everything done and dusted on the yard by the time we lose daylight.

There will be no lessons or pony club today - we are so sorry for the short notice but matters are out of our control.

Sorry for the inconvenience and hoping you’re all safe and warm!

Morning all,
We have not been hit badly by the storm and have had worse conditions here HOWEVER, we have made the decision to cancel all lessons up until 1pm.

At this moment, PRIVATES & PONY CLUB WILL RUN FROM 2:00pm. If the conditions improve we will ride but if not we will cover next week’s Stable Management today and ride next week. Privates will all be inside.

Please contact us and let us know if you’re not able to make it this afternoon.
