Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Enterprise Northern Ireland symposium and Start Her Up awards as a finalist. Three finalists had been narrowed down from 205 participants across Northern Ireland. I am delighted to tell you that Tuff Tails received runner-up and a prize of £500 to help grow the business.

It was a very interesting and insightful day as we looked into the findings of the enterprise barometer 2022

It was an honour to be there as a business owner and Ulster EPY student.

Congratulations to the winner and my fellow runner-up , as well as Eilis from Éire le hEilís, .knitwear who all won a start her up potential award. 🎉🎉🎉

Hi everyone, I thought it was about time I introduced myself as I know many of you don't know very much about me…

I’m Charis, I’m a product design student and EPY student at ulster university and most importantly a dog mum and business owner.

Favourite food: currently is brie 🧀
My favourite sport is: rugby 🏉
My favourite dog breed: is large breed rescue dogs however I would love to one day own a Newfoundland🐾
Random fact about me: I definitely don't have a green thumb as I managed to till my first and only cactus. I am also always covered in bruises not just because I’m clumsy but because it's one of the hazards of the job when working with dogs.
