Every day is a learning day... fabulous weekend dissecting a hock and stifle.. really understand and appreciate the amazing mechanisms that allow the horse to sleep standing up, the power and intricacies of the anatomy. Amazing!!!

4th July 2024... a significant day as its American Independence day, and also voting day. But I will remember the date as being the last day XL bully's all across the country will either be ineligible to be rehomed from rescues or surrendered by owners who just don't understand the new law properly. This makes me incredibly sad. These are beautiful, intelligent animals who have been lumped together due to the actions of others of their breed who by the ignorance of man, were not trained or understood properly and therefore put in situations whst were not suitable and actions happened. This can also be said for other breeds but they have escaped this ban.
My heart is heavy and goes out to all the owners who's lives will be ripped apart, the dogs who will inevitably be euthanized, to the vets who have to perform this heartless act and to the rescues who have spent endless hours of dedication trying to find homes for these dogs before the date came. Will they/we ever recover?😢😢

Wow what a weekend!! Had the most amazing time watching and learning in depth about the equine head and neck through an intricate dissection including a full eyeball dissection. Fascinating!!
Learnt so much and feel this has contributed to my ability to provide an in depth therapy session..

Every day is a school day!! Off for more learning... this time Horse dissection!!!

Vital to be able to understand the intricate layers of the equine species. To be able to see and recognise compromised tissue...here's hoping I pass the day and have learnt loads lol 😆
