Hello and Merry Christmas to you and all of your lovely dogs 🎄
We just want to say a huge thank you to all of our visitors this year, those who have been coming for years and the newbies. We love all the messages and photos of your dogs enjoying the beautiful, natural space, we appreciate each and every one. We have sent a £ 50 donation to Serbia's Forgotten Paws to support our field sponsor dog, taking our total to over £400 in donations this year. Thank you to every visitor for enabling us to support the charity, we know how much it's appreciated 🙏🏼🐾🐾

A little end of year housekeeping;
*Thank you for keeping the field clean and taking your poo bags and rubbish to the bin
*Thank you for not arriving more than a few mins before your scheduled time and leaving promptly
*Thank you for checking your confirmation emails to ensure you have the correct time/date
*Thank you for understanding the nature of the field and enjoying it for it's intended purpose.

As usual, we check the field daily and have put some woodchip near the gates to help keep the mud at bay and put some bubble wrap around the lock to help stop it from freezing. We have reduced our visiting hours whilst it's dark too, but let us know if you can't see a slot that you would particularly like.

Below are some photos of the field as we have gone through the season's this year; it's wild and beautiful, a bit like Yogi himself!

Good Morning and happy clock change day! Hopefully everyone remembered and perhaps some of you still got up extra early because the dogs weren't aware that at 7am, it's now 6am?!

Yogi continues to stick with a gentle field walk, preferring to investigate the copse (see pic) and Howie is as energetic as ever, chasing his ball in the fields open space and chasing leaves that are rapidly falling from those beautiful trees.
The field is their happy place and I hope it's your dogs too. 🍁🍂🍃🐾🐾

We've sent our donation for our field sponsor dog, Pulin, and extra to help feed the shelter dogs. Thank you for visiting us and helping fund our donations. Serbia's Forgotten Paws have some great fund raisers going on, please do check them out!

Hello all, how are you and your dogs?
Now I know I always say how beautiful the field is every month but how gorgeous is it to watch those trees change colour through September and October? Pics don't do it justice.🌰🍁🍂🍄
Howie is having the time of his life in the field, chasing and hunting 🐁🐿️.
But poor Yogi is really feeling the effects of his sad beginnings and his legs are not doing so well these days. It's important to keep him gently moving and although he's always keen to go to the field he often sticks to a shuffle through the copse and a lay down in the autumn sunshine. Whichever way dogs enjoy the field the value of having 2 acres of gorgeous freedom helps keep them, and us, calm and happy.

Thanks everyone who has visited this month, we've made our donation action as usual to Serbia's Forgotten Paws who have some great fund raisers at the moment and who we love to support as without them, Yogi wouldn't be here at all.

A quick reminder;
Picking up after your dog is a condition of using the field.

Please ensure to arrive no more than a few minutes before your time and leave promptly.

If you arrive late you still need to leave at the end of your time slot.

A few simple rules to keep the field clean and safe for all.

Hello everyone, hope you all had a decent August and have made the most of this last burst of Summer?
We can see the leaves on the mature trees in and around the field starting to turn and hopefully some of you managed to grab yourselves a bowl of blackberries while your dog nibbled on the lower down ones?! There is lots of activity in the field to keep the dogs entertained! Squirrels darting overhead, rabbits dashing out of the way, much to the annoyance of Howie and Yogi but it keeps them active and interested in the wild nature of our beautiful field.

Thank you everyone who visited, we've sent the money to Serbia's Forgotten Paws for our sponsor dog, much appreciated as always 🙏🏼

Please ensure to pick up after your dog, it's a condition of using the field, and thank you to the vast majority who help keep it so beautifully clean. We appreciate you so much.

Remember to stick to your times: if you arrive late you still need to leave at the correct time and to arrive no more than 5 mins before your slot.

Looking forward to the approach of a gorgeous Autumn, piles of leaves for our pooches to explore and some milder days. 🌰🍁🌳

Well July has been a mixed bag weather wise, hasn't it? The dog field is still wearing it's purple summer coat, intersected with ambling mown paths for dogs and humans to enjoy and these will be mown further as the weeks progress but this week, all of a sudden, a multitude of blackberries have ripened and mushrooms have popped up in the copse. Feel free to bring a bowl and pick the higher crop. Do any of your dogs eat them straight from the hedge? Ours love to help themselves to a few and it's good for them to forage, both physically and mentally. 🐾🐾

Housekeeping notes;
Thanks to all who keep the field clean; we've picked a few piles up this last couple of weeks and will take notice of when this is happening....please ensure to clean up, it's a condition of using the field and failure to do so will mean losing the ability to visit. Again, enormous thanks to all who do so which is the vast majority and is much appreciated.

Thank you also for sticking to your times....if you arrive late you need to still leave at the end of your booked slot.

It's a max of 4 dogs and 2 cars per booking.

Check your email confirmation and ensure your booking went through.

And as ever we have made our donation to Serbia's Forgotten Paws for which I know they always appreciate much; thank you all for using the field and enabling these donations.

Hello Everyone,

A quick polite reminder to please ensure you pick up after your dog; it's a condition of using the field and keeps the environment clean and pleasant for everyone.

A big, huge thank you to all who already do so, and even more to those kind souls who clean up after others, you rock!

The field is checked every day and repeat offenders will not be able to rebook.
