We are a busy show centre & livery yard also specialising in selling quality Irish horses and ponies. Duckhurst Farm has been established since 1980.

A family run business which started off and continues to sell quality Irish horses and ponies to a variety of riders. Our horses and ponies have been sold to riding schools, used in corporate pentathalan events and have gone on to homes to be successful competition horses. tre catering for competitors at all levels, from Mini / Novice through to BS Junior and Senior events. Shows are held every weekend throughout the indoor season. Our centre incorporates a large livery yard with superb riding facilities that include the use of our indoor show jumping arena and indoor school. We have ample car and HGV parking. Looking for his new forever 🏠 Super temperament and a really easy going soul. Robbie has recently come over from Ireland where he has been flat racing- he is ready for a complete career change. Already riding nicely on the flat and superb to hack even in heavy traffic. Eligible for ROR classes and will adapt easily to start RC activities this summer. Lovely sweet temperament and no stable vices.

Fabulous two days at the Kent Area Show, got a little bit wet (soaked 🤣💦) on Sunday but that didn't dampen our spirits, we have had a thoroughly enjoyable bank holiday weekend. Huge thank you to Leigh Maybin, Katy Ford Equestrian and all other organisers, judges, course builders, volunteers, everyone who made the show possible 🤩

Roslyn won a very fast British Novice this morning - making light work of the turns, winning by over 3 seconds 🐎

Pringle White Grey Gelding - 14.2hh - 6yrs Fully registered Connemara that is an ideal schoolmaster type. Pringle rides kindly and and sweetly with a more novice rider and will happily jump round 70cm but will come up a gear and jump a good 90cm course with a more experienced jockey. Pringle has done local shows including unaffiliated SJ Derby classes at Hickstead. He is very good to hack and sensible with all traffic. He is kind natured and good to manage and is happy to live in or out. A pony that is capable of giving his rider tons of fun and experience. £4,750

He rides in a snaffle and has nice paces and would be an ideal pony for all PC activities. He is good out hacking and will happily go 1st or last in all traffic including tractors and farm machinery. Indie is very kind and sensible to handle and is sweet nature with children. £4,000

Nugget Chestnut Gelding - 14.2hh - 12yrs Nugget is a real schoolmaster that has competed at shows, XC and he has hunted.He is a well schooled ride and is great fun without being strong or too keen. He jumps well and would teach a child to compete XC or SJ. Nugget is super to hack out alone or with others and is good with traffic. Good to catch, shoe and load and he is very sweet to handle. £3,500
