Family run horsebox company, with an extensive knowledge of horses. We own and transport horses all over the UK and Europe and build, repair and maintain all our customers lorries, trucks and trailers with this in mind. We use professional materials and our prices are affordable. Turn around times are fairly quick and every job is treated the same whether its a partition repair, a new tack locker

or tack locker repairs, a new floor or ramp or even a new build. We also can fit out living areas including beds, lutons, cut throughs, showers, fridges, ovens. In fact we are happy to discuss any requirements at all.

A little video about Vicky the horsebox. We are looking to sell this box for £4000. Just had a new MOT today. We will also be doing a few more info videos soon about what to look for when buying an older, cheaper box. Believe it or not there are some oldies but goodies out there that can be used for safe horse transport for less than 10k, you can even get some for less than 5. But it's good to know what to look for 😃

Anyone on the lookout for a glamping lorry, guest room, or an alternative to a static caravan whilst they build, develop, or renovate a property. Then we are selling our old lorry for this purpose. Vic would make a fantastic glamper / guest room on any rural property or a fab and spacious place to stay whilst doing a building / renovation project. The nice thing about a horsebox as opposed to a static caravan is the overall look and appearance of it in situe. Any questions please ask. Vic is currently SORN'd. We are looking for £3000. Please see the video attached, and I will upload some pictures in the comments.

Hi all this is another video showing the importance of safety checking your horsebox on a regular basis. This box came in for one of our reduced rate safety inspections we are currently doing - £75 if the box is brought to us in Benenden TN17 area - at the moment and will continue through the month of June. Please get in touch for more information or to book your box in. Safety for you and your horses is of upmost importance to us at Henning Horseboxes. We also do pre purchase inspections all over the country and regular maintenance and repair work on horseboxes

A little video talking about pre purchase inspections and the importance of having one before parting with any of your hard earned money and checking your lorries on a regular basis with a safety inspection.
We are offering safety inspections at our place over the next month or so for a reduced price of £75, these will mostly take place on Friday's and Saturday mornings when we are not out with our own horses so please get in touch to book your horsebox in. I may be able to fit in other days around works booked in, so please do get in touch if you would like you lorry looked at and checked over. If you would like a quote on a Pre Purchase Inspection, please get in touch with the size of the lorry and a postcode of where the vehicle is, and I can get you the price and availability.

Here we have another video explaining what to look for in the non ramp wall, this is normally the off side wall however on some makes and models it can be the near side, to make sure you have some structure in place to ensure safety for the horses.
This also applies to larger lorries especially along the wall where the horses bum sits.

We are running our reduced rate Saturdays throughout February and March at our place in Benenden, Kent. Bring your 3.5t up to 6.5t lorries in for a full safety inspection for £75 including a written report. These can be booked in by messaging Kate via our page messenger.
We maybe able to to offer some limited Sunday dates if Saturdays are not an option but please message to find out what Sunday availability we have.

We can also arrange reduced rate yard visits if you can get 5 or more boxes of any size to check in the same place on the same day, please contact me for further info on this.

Our Story

Welcome to Henning Horseboxes. We are a family run horsebox company which runs alongside our other family business Henning Polocrosse UK a riding establishment specialising in the teaching of polocrosse and the hiring out of Polocrosse ponies, so we have an extensive knowledge of what is required from a horsebox from both the owner and the horse. We transport between 2 and 10 horses at any one time all over the UK and Europe covering between 5000 - 10000 miles a year, doing both short trips to the forest and up to 2 week trips as far as Hannover in Germany.

I built my first lorry 20 years ago, an old 1988 Mercedes 814 and have been building them since. We build, repair and maintain all our customers lorries, trucks and trailers with this in mind. We use professional materials and our prices are affordable. Turn around times are fairly quick and every job is treated the same whether it’s a partition repair, a new tack locker or tack locker repairs, a new floor or ramp or even a new build. We can fit out living areas including beds, lutons, cut throughs, showers, fridges, ovens. In fact we are happy to discuss any requirements at all.

We also offer a Pre Purchase Inspection service to anyone wanting to buy a lorry. We will travel all over the country helping customers find the right box for them within their budget.
