Whilst out earlier with Ruby I hid a couple of scent articles for max to find. He had a little trouble catching the scent of the gun oil to start with as the breeze was going the other way so he did initially try to search the wrong direction into another field. I could have let him carry on and work out for himself he’d gone the wrong way but it’s cold out and I decided to let him know he’d chosen the wrong way to look . Once he caught the scent he located the article very quickly 👌🏻💖

So this is our warm up session today before his “real” scent mission ,which was a kong I’d pre hidden in an old derelict sheep barn with lots of debris,and parts to search . He had a great time but we don’t have the sheep barn part on video because when we got there I discovered I’d somehow dropped my phone out in the middle of the field during our warm up 😣🤦‍♀️ so after he searched the barn and had his reward we had to go knock for Helen @pawprints to come save the day and help search the field while she rang my phone 🫣🤣 thank god for Helen!!!!! 💖 I think il be teaching him to sniff out my phone after this experience 😅🤣 Paw Prints Dog Walking & Animal Services

Might not look like much to most people but this dog has always MASSIVELY struggled with impulse control. We’ve been consistently practicing just for a couple of moments a day and he’s deffo getting the idea👌🏻💖
